I hope people following that @felix-ravinstill blog read the tags, because most of those posts will be boring as fuck without them... honestly, they might be still boring as fuck, but I'm truly trying to embody the horror of a guy unable to fully let himself be his own person. (with the eye of the state on him, but also the state eyes itself... an ouroboros of surveillance?)

Kind of love that in tbosas, the one usage of "fate forbid" (Ch. 10) is in the singular. Like, we're replacing "God forbid," and we are also making sure to differentiate it from an invocation of any mythological "Fates," but the effect... It's still an invocation. We know what it's supposed to be covering up. The Capitol trying to be above what it might see as "superstitious," but it's there. They dress it up differently, but it's there.
