 In residential townships or societies, generally, there is one Underground Tank (UGT) and multiple Overhead Tanks (OHTs) depending on the number of towers or buildings being constructed.  The UGT supplies water to all the OHTs. The multi-tank controller system is installed to monitor the water levels in the UHTs, run the motors and control the pumps and valves accordingly to prevent dry run or overflow.
Let us assume that there are two OHTs A and B. if Tank A has reached its maximum, the multi-tank controller system keeps the pump running but changes the electronic valve positions automatically to stop water flow to tank A and starts filling tank B.
