The bot situation on here is seriously out of control. I finally went through the list of people who have recently followed me (I went back within the past week, I’m planning on going further later), and while I did have plenty of legit accounts I blocked easily 20 bot accounts.

I do have a pretty active blog with higher than average engagement so it’s possible I’m getting more spambots than the average tumblr user, but this is still crazy. There have to be 3-5 bots following me every day. I feel like tumblr can do something to make it harder for spammers to do this shit.

EDIT: My blog is not unique, it seems like most of us are being plagued by these spambots and we’re all going crazy.
