On this very auspicious day of Guru Poornima, the grace of all the Gurus of the past, present and future flows to us in great abundance. So any spiritual sadhana performed today is far more effective and powerful than on any other day. Chanting the name of God once on Guru Poornima is equivalent to chanting it one crore one lakh and hundred and eight times on a normal day say the scriptures.

Today all our worship is tainted with a fear that if we do not perform the ritual or prayer God will not fulfill our wishes or might even curse us. We do not understand that God is not here to curse us. Each one of us are created by God with lot of love. We are all beloved children of God. Knowing this if we just do one heartfelt prostration, we become taintless and enjoy the endless love of God.

We are extremely conscious of the cleanliness of our outer environment. But what about the inner garbage we carry? When we throw it out, the mind will experience silence and then bliss.

Rudra Veena - the divine instrument of Lord Shiva... Listening to this how can one stop from slipping quietly into meditation. I appreciate Pandit ji's in his endavour in preserving this very special art form.

Nature reflects divinity in all its glory. They are eternal and serve one and all alike without differentiating between any. Through nature we can truly feel the presence of God not only around us but also within us.
