I read the story of the current scout. Therefore, here is a brief excerpt of all the interesting things that happened there. I'll post some moments later♪
× The one who introduced Mao and Ritsu was Rei.
× There was a children's association in Mao's hometown, which he and Rei had once participated in. In this association, the children played with each other, ate sweets and had fun. There were always a lot of people around Rei, and he could come up with something funny. So when he left, many children followed him because they thought it would be boring without Rei.
× Therefore, Mao was asked to deliver a letter asking Rei to return to the children's association "if possible." To do this, he needed to deliver the letter directly to their mansion.
× Rei refused to return on the pretext of "I'm bored with the kids." And deftly, before Mao had time to realize what had happened, he said that instead of Rei, his younger brother Ritsu could be brought. That's how they met.
This is a brief retelling of the main actions of the story. Also here are some interesting little things that I didn't know about yet:
- When Mao first met Rei, he thought that he was "so graceful that it seems unreal."
- Rei and Ritsu live in their parents' mansion, which is considered something like a "haunted house" among the locals and has a bad reputation.
- Rei also says that the indicative pride of the Sakuma clan in its peculiarity and the fact that people are afraid of them is a kind of way to hide an inferiority complex.
- Ritsu says that he "doesn't know his parents and his family is only Rei" Rei says that their parents are so rarely at home that he will soon forget their faces too.
- Rei performs the duties of a "housekeeper" and looks after the household, since no one else lives in the house except him and Ritsu. He also looks after Ritsu.
- Rei went to school as a child.
- Rei's manner of speech as a child was very polite, but friendly. He was quite playful and it was hard to understand what he was thinking. In fact, he was not much different from the Rei we know now. Apparently, this is his real identity.
- Rei did wear formal clothes on a daily basis. Really.
- Rei's overprotective and excessive love for his younger brother has always been there.
- Apart from his introversive nature, Ritsu rarely left the house, also because Rei rarely allowed him to. According to Rei, of course.
- When Ritsu and Mao were playing outside, Rei watched them from afar with binoculars LMAO
- Most likely, Rei refused to return to the children's association only to send Ritsu there instead of himself. I'm not sure he was really bored with the kids, as he says.
- Rei explained the appointment of Ritsu to this particular association by saying that, according to him, in such associations, unlike schools, there is no "tough competitive atmosphere, which Ritsu is not used to."
- Rei says that he and Ritsu need to communicate with "normal" children. And also that if they love with something "normal", then it will certainly be twisted and distorted. In the end, he called himself "cruel" because of such words.
- And yes, Rei, as always, with a mysterious careless smile, makes a fuss for someone's benefit, without explaining anything. What a tradition.
