Abaddon. A name given by the resident’s who inhabit the island city.

In order to create an experimental population, scientists transported a number of every day citizens to a remote island. However, the people began to rebel and demanded to be freed back home. Determined to continue the experiment, the scientists began twisting their power resulting in the massacre of hundreds of people. With a history created, it was impossible to turn back. The authority became known simply as “Leader”.

To track down any others who would oppose them, Leader created a series of Illusionary Non Persons [INPs] who could blend perfectly into the society. The information gathered by INPs allowed Leader a greater control over its people and the mistrust of authority caused crime and suicide rates to rocket. Those who are able to adapt continue on with their ordinary lives.

Can you continue “life” or will you be another to fall prey to the tyrrany?

Blinking, her eyes adjusted as Eren's face quickly appeared in front of her; the blurred sensations faded as the sound of footsteps shuffled ever closer to their position. A swift jolt lifted her to her feet as she followed the motion and let the momentum carry her forwards. Eren's hand gently enveloped hers as they made their way along a street paved in sunlight before stopping by an apartment complex. Christa glanced over at Eren - he smiled back without a hint of exhaustion. Christa's admiration for the scenery was short lived though since, before she could even react, Eren had lead her inside as they stood at a simple door. Her heart pulsed thinking he'd actually chose to have an adventure here of all places! "Oh...you didn't have to do that..." she replied, guilt rushing through her as he opened the door and quickly scavenged his room for a sweater. The edge of her shoes crept over the threshold between his room and the hall. "Let me help you!" she called out and took a brave step into his room; 

The bell was ringing furiously. Christa dashed out of the library and towards her next class. Was it really that time already? Her day had gone by so quickly, maybe because she was waiting all day for her friend to…

[Open] Magical AU

A faint hum lingered over the city as ashes slowly fell from the sky; the remnants of the monster scattered around her as the blood trickled down her staff like stardust. Everything has a price...for many years, mankind had been reminded of this harsh reality. Evil will enslave us or we will drown in the goodness of the light.  Blinking rapidly, Christa's eyes adjusted back to the scenery. Her staff was gone and the destruction cleared away with the void. The void had taken everything the debris and washed away the blood that was splattered around the city. She could still feel the rust of it on her skin as her fingertips glided down the once crimson stained areas. Pedestrians continued with their day as Christa looked on in jealousy; the void could take away their memories, but not hers. This was the curse of her power. She was a hero or that's what she had been told...though all she felt like was a cheap magical girl in her school uniform. Impulsively, she dusted her skirt thinking that the debris would still be lingering as she picked up her bag that she had discarded on a nearby car. Though she knew she wasn't the only one who could remember these battles...there existed humans immune to the powers of the void and thus bore the same curse as she did. Though that was just the start. The bad guys in all this remembered too so she had to be cautious.   School sounds great after all that...she sighed and pressed on towards the school unaware of the figure that was lurking not too far from her.

My friend really wanted a translation of this, so I took a stab at it. Getting the text to fit in the speech bubbles designed for top-bottom kana was a bit tricky. I’m not going to mar the comic with an ugly watermark, but please don’t take credit for the translation. I take no credit for the comic, which I found here.
