He literally wipes the moisture from Rey's side of the bond from his mouth and then we get a close up of it running down his hand...

Yeah still not over it, apparently.

Reylo Week | Day One: Missing Scene

“I had a vision of the throne of the Sith… and who was on it.”

“Ren?”

“And me.”

It’s dark and cold in the cavernous temple. Only a few lit torches guide the way from the entrance hall to the imposing throne at the center of it.

There are whispers in the shadows that recede as she walks past, fear and reverence rendering them silent and subservient. Rey pays them no mind as she makes her way to the throne with calm, measured steps.

To the throne — and who is on it.

Kylo Ren looks regal and imposing when she approaches, sitting on the slab of carved stone like it has always been his birthright to rule over every being in the galaxy.

Every being, except for Rey. He rules no part of her, except her heart. When she reaches his side, his eyes meet hers, dark and deep and bright with power. She does not bow. Does not prostrate herself in front of him. Does not swear her undying loyalty. She doesn’t need to. They are equals in every way.

Instead, her lips quirk up in an indulgent smirk and she unceremoniously sits herself down, astride on his lap.

His hands immediately snake around her waist, pulling her close enough for her chest to brush against his. She can feel it inflate as he inhales her scent. She wraps her arms around his neck, carding her fingers through the thick hair at his nape. Kylo’s eyes darken.

“Who have you terrorized today, little lamb?”

Rey's dulcet laugh echoes across the temple. “Hardly anyone, my love.”

His hands rub circles on her back, a gesture that is as comforting as it is possessive. “That’s not what I heard. It seems like you’ve... eliminated the last of the slave traders. Quite spectacularly, if rumors are to be believed.”

She preens under his touch and at the awe and affection he makes no effort to conceal. She traces her fingers feather light along the scar on his face. The one she gave him. She likes how she has written herself across his skin, a mirror to the way they are etched on each other’s souls.

“They tested my patience.”

“I know first hand how that can land you into trouble,” he says, voice cast low. Her eyes dip to his lips, so red and soft and plush.

“I like trouble.”

She relishes the way his eyes turn hungry. Rey craves — his mouth, his touch, him.

His smile is proud and pleased and decadent and she wants to consume him. She bends down and crushes her mouth against his in a searing kiss. She bites into his lip, hard enough to draw blood. His indecorous moan fills the air around them and feeds into her lust, causing her to roll her hips in small, smooth circles against him.

Their passion is powerful enough to set the shadows ablaze and turn darkness into light.

Rey wakes with a start.

She sits up on the bunk, struggling to catch her breath. Her clothes are damp with sweat and her face is clammy. She wipes it with her tunic. Around her, the Falcon is quiet as it cruises through space.

Everyone else is asleep and she is glad for it. She wouldn’t want to have to explain the dream that had just snaked its way into her mind. Something in her chest tightens; it didn’t feel like a dream. It had the same prophetic feel as the vision she saw when she and Kylo touched hands on the hut on Ahch-To. The one she had been so certain would come to pass.

It terrifies her, but not for the right reasons. Because despite how wrong she knows it to be, she felt something when she was wrapped in Kylo’s arms.

She felt at home.

And part of her — no matter how small that part might be — yearns to feel it again.

Listen as far as I'm concerned, Ben is the only place in Ep IX Rey had any agency. She chose to save him; she chose to walk away because he wasn't ready for her love and it wasn't her job to stay and do his emotional labour; she chose to kiss him. Yes EP IX completely hollows out Rey and I hate it but it's not in her dynamic with Ben that it happens.

you idiots realize that the dyad was ALSO a last-minute addition that made it in the film that still makes 0 sense? Like a 19/20 year is going to be soulmates with a 30+ man whose character ping pongs the entire series. They took Rey from her TFA self and turned her into an accessory to Kylo Ren. Its disgusting. Once again a lady's plot is sidelined and tied up with the whiny white boy
