St Faith's pupils won a national competition for this film.  Organised by the Spanish Embassy and the Spanish Tourist Board the film competition was open to full-time Spanish students of any age and St Faith's pupils, despite being the youngest entrants, won. The eight and nine year olds from St Faith's impressed the judges with their 'creativity and imagination' and their 'magnificent level of Spanish.' Entitled Martín Pescador, which means Kingfisher, the winning film was crafted in the lead up to Eco Week at St Faith's in the Summer Term. It tells the story of Spanish children on a field studies trip in search of an elusive kingfisher. Shot on location in nearby woods and poppy-strewn fields, the six-minute film tackles environmental issues such as litter and noise pollution while seamlessly integrating language-learning with the eco curriculum. "The children improvised the opening scene as they launched into an energetic game of 'Roca, Papel, Tijeras' or 'Scissors, Paper, Stone'," explains Dr Heather Martin, Head of Modern Languages at St Faith's. "Throughout the day more radical improvisation was required due to a steady stream of interested dogs, bell-ringing cyclists, oblivious joggers and two very large, but gracious, horses!"

The guy uses the apple ( also known his love) to tempt the girl, but another beautiful girl is tempted by his love. Therefore, she makes a wish to become pretty(pretty in her 4th life).Then the 3rd life happens in WW2, the girl gives him an apple (her love) to remind him do not die. When the guy dies, the withered apple is returned to her, that also means her love is withered as the apple.
