Sundays were your favourite days because your boyfriend had his free day. You two sleeped until late and you didn’t have the heart to wake him up when you were awake at 11 am. You knew he was tired even if he smiled and says otherwise. You just cleaned up the house and washed yourself. So, now at 12 pm, you were about to make some food and finally wake Mingi up. Before you could see him, he wrapped hos arms around your figure, making you smile sweetly.

“Good morning” he said, still half sleeping

“It’s 12 pm you messy hair, it’s not morning anymore” you laughed at his confused face expression, he didn’t realise how late it was.

“Sorry baby I overslept” he buried his face in the crock of your neck making you laugh

“I let you sleep, you looked so tired”

“You’re the best”

He left a sweet kiss on your cheek and watched the counter. “I’m hungry”

“I know messy hair just give me some minutes and you will eat” you tried to escape his arms but he tightened the hold “no, let’s do it together”

“Mingi you’re not capable of cooking and not eating at the same time”

He rolled his eyes while smiling “so? We’re gonna eat it anyway”

You knew it was a lost battle so you just agreed on cooking with him. After boiling the eggs and cut the vegetables you had to peel off the eggs but Mingi stopped you.

“That’s my moment I’m gonna show you one of my hidden talent”

You raised an eyebrow and prepared yourself to watch what he wanted to show. He took an egg and suddenly he smashed it on his head, then he peeled it off.

He watched you with a big smile “surprised, aren’t you?”

You facepalmed yourself “you’re an idiot” but you smiled at him because he was your idiot.

This fool doesn’t even notice when your head drops onto his shoulder

Why?

Homie is dead asleep too

But the driver gently calls to him

Like we here kiddo hand over the money

And he’s like oh alright

Joong only notices that you’re asleep when he goes to pay and

Cant?? Move?? His arm??

So he gets smushy and he’s like oh nu

Doesn’t want to wake you up

Wants to be cute and carry you but he has to pay too and AGH

So eventually he has to wake you up

He just kinda wiggles in his seat until the movement wakes you up

And then you wake up embarrassed because the driver is staring at both of you like what fresh hell

When Hongjoong finally pays you can’t get out of the car fast enough

He’s whining all the way to your apartment about how he didn’t want to wake you up and boohoo

But both of you just crash onto the couch once you’re inside and all is forgiven

a/n; i am VERY soft for ateez rn and i struggled to keep them in character im sorry

seonghwa;

you stole one of his sweaters right

he asks you out on a date to the movies with him,, and you most definitely want to wear his shirt because it’s just so comfortable

when you meet up with him and when his eyes land on you,, he’d just go ô_ô

he’d ask why you have it and when you tell him you stole it when you were “doing laundry for him”

highly unlikely to fall for it because you know how hwa is, almost literally a neat freak

but he doesn’t mind because he thinks you’re the cutest little angel on earth ;w;

hongjoong;

somehow one of his bright-colored hoodies came to your possession mysteriously (you totally didn’t steal it you swear)

he’s at the dorms n about to customize some of his clothes when he notices one of his hoodies missing

you come to visit the boys with hongie’s hoodie on

he’d come into the lounge room (like where they all hang out and play games and stuff) and when he sees you, he can’t help it but to smile goofily at you

“you look so cute, baby,” he’d say and give you a small kith on the cheek aaAA

he’d abandon his plans on diy’ing any clothes just to admire you and your cuteness

you snatched one of his button-up shirts

he invites you to one of their concerts in your town and gives you a pass to the backstage

after the concert, you’d go backstage to meet up with yunho (and the other boys as well)

you feel like teasing him, “i had to, it looks way better on me than you”

he asks you to come over to cook for him & the boys because they miss your cooking

“how dare you make my heart flutter like this, y/n!” he’d playfully whine when in reality he’s just really happy that you decided to wear it today so he gets to not only cuddle you but to feel the warmth of his own shirt ?? if that makes sense

Hongjoong:

He was talking about how his members weren’t listening to him again and whatever nonsense they did, embarrassing themselves.

When you just pressed your lips against his, shutting him up because he was just rambling.

His eyes closed automatically at the touch of your lips and he started to grin like a fool when you pulled away.

“W-what?” you asked, becoming slightly flustered from the way he was staring at you.

“Nothing. This was just a nice way to shut me up.”

Seonghwa:

It was night and the two of you were cuddling in bed, just chatting until you fell asleep.

However, the topic Seonghwa chose was to complain about the mess his members made everywhere they went, expecting him to clean up.

You were way too tired to listen anymore but still, his passionate tone and the way his brows furrowed in annoyance brought a smile to your lips.

Slowly, you leaned closer to kiss him softly.

Seonghwa stared at you in confusion as you pulled away but stopped talking and just pulled you closer in his embrace.

Yunho:

This boy can talk and it’s very easy for him to get caught up in the moment, just wanting to share everything with you.

He’s also way too tall for his own good so it’s pretty difficult to shut him up with a kiss…

You leaned over him, kind of kabedoning him against the couch and giving him a quick kiss.

He did not expect that and just kept staring at you with a dazed expression, his mouth slightly open. Words? He forgot all about them.

You kissed Yeosang so he wouldn’t make any more jokes.

You were successful.

However, you gave him a whole lot of new opportunities to entertain himself…

San:

He also has a hard time stopping after he really got into a topic.

However, he also often overthinks things and as he rambles, you can see that his thoughts won’t go anywhere, especially not in a good direction.

So you kiss him.

As soon as your lips meet with his, he starts to smile.

You pull away after a second but he didn’t have enough yet. He tackles you and kisses you all over your face and then your lips, kissing you until he’s satisfied.

Mingi:

Can he ever shut up? No.

Can you reach him to shut him up with a kiss? No. damn you tall idiot

Will you anyways? Yes.

You will grab his shirt and pull him down to your level, pressing your lips to his before letting him go.

He’s a blushing, stuttering mess trying to pretend he’s smug and not at all affected. Save him…

Wooyoung:

Now, if Jung Wooyoung starts complaining about something there’s absolutely no way of shutting him up.

It doesn’t matter what you do, he’s just so into it, he can’t physically stop until all of his frustration is out.

But he really doesn’t have to keep going on about something trivial so you kiss him to shut him up.

He’s legit offended that you interrupted him.

“Yeah, you will get your kisses, baby, but listen-”

Jongho:

You love listening to Jongho’s singing voice more than anything.

But also there are times when he’s singing and you have something important to say and he’s just really into it.

So you just kiss him and you found that the most effective way to shut him up.

He will start blushing and open and close his mouth, not a sound leaving him.

He’s just gaping at you, flustered and shocked as you grin in victory.

You didn’t want to admit that you were wrong, and the fact that your body would start shaking soon was going to make it a lot more difficult. Before you walked the stairs of the station, you noticed the snow was starting to pile up, and although you loved it, in that second you wished it would just disappear. 

Before you left your shared apartment, Mingi had warned you to take something that would keep you warm and not only the jacket you were wearing. You had dismissed his advice, leaving your gloves in the living room as well as the beanie he’d gotten you before Winter even started. You’d agreed you would run some errands and have lunch before heading back home, but it was taking a little longer than you expected, and the subway was behind on schedule.

“You’re freezing. Come here.” Mingi grabbed your hands and placed them inside the pockets of his own jacket before embracing you.

“Place don’t say you told me so” you pouted, hiding your face on his chest. 

His chest shook with laughter, as he kissed your head. “But I did tell you so”

“I know” you whined, your stomach fluttered at the way he was looking back at you and you stood on your tiptoes to kiss him. “Mind going home early?”

Mingi grinned once again, “I’m pretty sure my other option is having you freeze out here, so yes, let’s go home” kissing your head softly, he looked impatiently at the screen that showed the train was still late.

“I’ll make hot chocolate” you promised “…And I’ll listen to you next time.”

“You better” he warned jokingly “Next time I won’t let you share my pockets.”

Waking up to ATEEZ reaction

Seonghwa:

·         He is up almost always before you are

·         And as much as he loves holding you, he gets out of bed like 10 mind after waking up

·         Leaving you there

·         All alone

·         Pouting unconsciously at the loss of warmth and clinging onto the bed sheets

·         God, he was so in love

·         Seonghwa will usually let you sleep for a while after he wakes up because he thinks you deserve it

·         But if its getting late then he’ll crouch down, face-to-face with your sleeping face on the bed

·         And he’ll place a soft kiss on your forehead with a soft, “goodmorning, sweetheart.”

 Hongjoong:

·         Hongjoong… getting sleep??? What an iconic pair

·         Hes a busy man - he cant help this

·         And he knows that it upsets you when he gets home late and then still has to get ready for bed and then sometimes gets it with a sudden wave of inspiration for a new song

·         So he always tries to make up his absence with cuddles when you’re both in bed

·         He probably likes to be the little spoon… but at night he always feels so guilty about being so busy that he just lies in bed

·         And just embraces you from behind, holding you firmly and placing one last kiss on your neck before drifting to sleep himself

·         So when you wake up, you find that he is already awake

·         But he’s still in bed, just scrolling through his social medias on his phone

·         Until he acknowledges that you are now awake and he locks his phone and gives you plenty of kisses and attention

 Yunho:

·         He is always making sure you’re warm

·         If his koala-like cuddles aren’t enough to keep you warm then that’s okay

·         Because he has an assortment of blankets just for you

·         He also has tons of pillows in the spare lining cupboard in case you are sleeping in an uncomfortable position but he doesn’t want to wake you to move you

·         He will always have some part of his body pressed against him

·         Whether its him sleeping on your chest, you sleeping on his, etc

·         Even when you’re in a fight and sleeping on separate sides of the bed, you find yourselves waking up while holding hands

·         He likes brushing your hair out of your face while you stare up at him from lying on his chest

·         And he feels his heart constrict when you look up at him

·         He is always going to protect you from everything because he thinks that you are so precious

  Yeosang:

·         Yeosang likes to make sure that you slept well

·         He is normally pretty teasing with you during the day, but he’ll make up for it in the mornings

·         When he is still feeling a little drowsy but will look at you and tell you how much he adores everything about you

·         Of course you treasure these moments the most, but you never ring them uo to him

·         Not because he thinks its embarrassing or anything, but because these moments are the purest and you both like to appreciate them in silence

·         He always makes sure that you are warm, and if you’re not then he’ll pull your body even closer to his, tangling his legs with yours

·         His eyes are always so warm in the mornings when he has just woken up that you end up just staring at them because wow hes so gorgeous and im so in love with him

·         Seriously, I think that if Yeosang was in love with you, you’d never have to doubt it

 San:

·         You usually wake up before him

·         So you normally have time to stare at him and appreciate his beauty

·         Asking yourself how someone can be so ethereal

·         As the sunlight shines through the curtains and hits his bareface so perfectly

·         Even though you wake up earlier than him, you like to wait for him to wake up before you get up for the day

·         So you’ll find yourself usually laying right on top of him, waking up with your face nestled into his neck

·         This way you can cuddle him easily

·         But it also makes it easier to tell when he wakes up, as you can feel his breathing pick up and lift you, too

·         I headcannon that hes a human heater – the man is always warm

·         And as playful and teasing he is, I don’t think that San would tease you for staring at him

·         I think that he’d just gaze at you lovingly and smile warmly

·         Not that smile where he shows his teeth fully, but like the kind of smile that only shows his front teeth because hes smiling so big and warm and its reaching his eyes omg

·         If hes late, he will rely on you to wake him up because – and I quote – “you’re much better to wake up to than a stupid alarm clock”

·         And if you have to wake him up, he prefers it when you kiss his neck innocently

·         He likes that, this way, he has no doubts that you love him from first thing in the morning

 Mingi:

·         You can’t lie: you love Mingi’s oice when he wakes up

·         It’s just so raspy and deep

·         And his bedhead and cute scrunched up nose when you kiss it to wake him up

·         It’s all so perfect

·         And when he pins you down to the bed, kisses you softly and whispers “goodmorning, baby” with a smirk on his lips

·         You swear you’ve never felt more secure in anyone else’s arms

·         He will ask about everything you have got planned out today and he will tell you about ho he expects his day to go

·         But it turns out that you are both late

·         Because you got too caught up in eachother

·         But nevertheless he still thinks the best and most important part of any day is when he wakes up next to you

·         Wooyoung is another member to cling to you like koala during the night

·         He doesn’t even do it consciously

·         He just loves you that much

·         But as much as he loves you he can’t deny that he definitely gets overheated by clinging to you

·         So when you wake up its to overwhelming heat and you immediately throw Wooyoung off of you while complaining

·         But the only response he can come up with is that “now we can shower together” *winky face*

·         To which you smack him for

·         Anyway… you find it really difficult to get out of bed on the rare mornings when you have Wooyoung all to yourself

·         After playfully teasing eachother for a while, you both just lie there facing eachother

·         And just appreciate in silence

·         He won’t tell you this but he is so scared of losing you and these moments with you

 Jongho:

·         Jongho is young so I imagine that his feelings are always heightened and you’re the only thing on his mind all day

·         He’s usually pretty tired when he gets home, but he always has enough energy to thank you for staying up and waiting for him to come home safely and giving you kisses until you both fall asleep

·         He wakes up earlier than you, usually only by around half an hour to an hour

·         So he always makes sure to appreciate you and everything about you that he can before he has to leave

·         He takes in how your eyelashes flutter against your cheeks, how your hands (considerably smaller than his) hold onto his pinky finger when you sleep, how your hair looks messy but he finds it cute

·         In fact, I think Jongho first realised he loved you when waking up to you like this one day

·         And when you wake up, you find him staring at you adoringly

·         You never knew before then what it was like to be so loved

Kim Hongjoong

takes the day off to take care of you

work is important but that can wait

he’ll swing by your house during the day with the spare key and come home to see you sleeping in bed

frowns and presses a soft kiss to your forehead before heading to the kitchen to find your meds

when he finds all the bottles he’ll carefully take them and sort them all out at the table

counts how many pills you need for each day and whether you should have them before or after meals

and organises them into little boxes with labels so that it’ll be easier for you to take them

calls Seonghwa over to help him cook dinner for you

because Seonghwa’s amazing and Hongjoong is not a walking disaster he actually manages to make a decent porridge for you

but he does burn his fingers while attempting to lift the pot of the stove without gloves

because this silly boy was too busy fretting about you and lost his train of thought

you wander out of the bedroom warily because you smell food but you didn’t know that anyone was supposed to be coming over

but when you see Hongjoong there with Seonghwa scolding him while bandaging his fingers your heart melts

he gives you this brightest smile and pulls you into a hug

“how are you?”

apologizes shyly for making a mess of the kitchen but it’s only a few dishes in the sink?

seonghwa goes home for the night but hongjoong insists on staying over even though he has work tomorrow

kiss his fingers and thank him for being so sweet and he turns bright red

after you’re done with the meal the two of you turn in for bed

hongjoong insists on sleeping next to you even though you’re ill and you try to stop him because you don’t want him to get sick too

but he burritos himself in with you and you can’t wriggle out of it so you give up

“don’t you know how strong i am?”

falls sick the next day and you can’t help but laugh and kiss his cheek

you end up taking the day off to take care of him lol

song mingi, the boy who works at your local bookstore and is always recommending you his favourite pieces of writing. one day, he gives you another book to read, flipping through the pages you found a piece of paper scribbled with blue ink on it. “be mine”, it said. your eyes shot up in search of mingi, who snapped his eyes away from you as a crimson blush matching his hair flushed across his face.
