hello! i was wondering if you have any tips on hiding that you’re eating less? i eat at school with friends and have dinner with parents so it’s more difficult
Hello! Of course I do!
So, at the start of the school year, I stopped eating anything at school, mainly because I can't really fast at home and my family makes pretty high c4l meals, but I do realize that not everyone can (safely) do that.
As for lunches, the best tip I can give you is to gradually switch your lunches to more low c4l meals that have a lot of volume + are actually filling. Some of my recommendations are salads and oatmeal. I personally believe they're perfect because not only do they contain little c4lories, but you can really switch it up a lot as they have plenty of variations, so that way you're not eating the exact same thing every single day.
My next tip is just to explain to the people around you that you want to be 'healthier'. That you haven't been feeling good in your skin lately, and you really want to make some changes in your life to feel better. You don't have to tell them about the weight thing, but it is important to be a little bit open and to inform the people around you about some of the things you need to get to where you want to be.
Those were the main tips that really helped me, I hope these helped in some way.
Finally, I do want to let anyone reading know that there is nothing wrong with 'slipping up' every once in a while. It does not make you a bad person, and it isn't the end of the world.

I am literally so stressed out rn.
On Sunday I have to go to some school thing for my nephew where they're going to cook us spaghetti, and I am literally so scared. The entire family on my dad's side is going to be there, and I really don't want to have to eat in front of them.
But on the other side I have to pretend to eat like I've always done because for some reason my aunt/godmother picked up on me having "lost weight" (which at that point I had been stuck on 50 kgs for about 2 months on end already so what the hell) and kept confirming it with my dad and my grandmother and she really scared me. I don't want to lie to her but if they find out they might try and stop me or tell my mom who will literally force recovery on me, and I'm just not ready to do that yet.
I don't know how much they will serve us, I don't know what's in it, I don't know if they're going to put cheese on, and I really feel out of control.
