Now I’m not autistic. But I know quite a many folk that are and I follow autistic creators. I’ve had stimming explained to me and I can recognise what that looks like.

And as far as I’m aware, it sure as hell don’t look like the nazi salute.

Being autistic doesn’t make you do that. You can’t say oh Elon did the nazi salute because he’s autistic.

He did it because he’s a bloody fucking facist who endorses far right organisations and is a scum sucking piece of decomposing shit.

That man grew up in the South Africa apartheid and his family directly profited from it.

He knows what it means.

And what you’re doing by perpetuating this kind of dangerous narrative is further stigmatising autistic folk.

So cut that shit out would ya.

I think some of you forgot that autistic people sometimes act strange and say things that are poorly worded and speak with incorrect tone and misunderstand or miss social cues because they are autistic

#another day another social blunder #I was buying something last week and while the person who I was with was showing me something the cashier started to make small talk #and I can’t multitask especially with small talk so as an answer to ‘how is your day going?’ I accidentally (borderline shouted) ‘YES’#and then just continued on with my purchase like nothing happened #I used to have a lot of social anxiety about this stuff but now it’s just funny to me #tone issues get me too it’s either ‘you sound bored’ or ‘wow it’s not that exciting’ can’t win with some people #oh and I once had a shop assistant keep asking me if I was sad and I just had to leave bc I couldn’t explain that’s just my default face #not my problem you’re interpreting it as sad after I already said no grrr
