Good luck in the real world when something actually upsetting like a death in the family happens and rent is still due.

Character A is about to propose but Character B thinks they’re talking about something else.

A proposal is rejected.

One of the characters catches the thrown bouquet at a friend’s wedding.

Character A plans a wedding without having proposed.

Character A proposes for the wrong reason.
