The internet came to the world in the late 1960′s as ARPANET. ARPANET used pack switching to allow multiple computers to communicate on a single network. The internet has changed the world in many ways but has become a major issue when it comes to security, hacking became a common way to threat the users security.

-Method of communication

The method of communication can be writing or speaking by a sender and listening or reading by a receiver. Oral communication can vary from a phone call to video conferences, Nowadays many people prefer writing as a method of communication, from a simple text message to emails.

-Social networking 

Social networking is a method of communication to keep the world connected and communicate with your family, friend, or colleagues. social networking can have various porpuses as social or business porpuses, the most common social sites to used by users are, Facebook, Instagram, and twitter. 

-Email

Email is a common method of communication, it allows you to send and receive messages from someone with an email adress. 

- Wikis and blogs

Wikis are unique websites where pages become online documents that can be created or edited by any author, Blogs are websites that allow you to create a post or discussion about any topic and shared with the public.

 - Podcasts and webcasts

Podcasts are digital audios recorded available on the internet to deliver a message to the audience, webcasts are digital audios and visuals to present through the internet an event, meeting, or web lectures.

- Streaming media

Streaming media or audio content to entertain the audience. Its a is when users connect online to broadcast movies, news or documentaries. 

- E-commerce and m-commerce

Ecommerce is the activity of buying or selling product electronically on the internet, Mcommerce is the use of wireless devices such as cellphones or tablets to complete online transactions.
