So was this anon Lotus, or not?

It was not.

I hope Sophie knows how inherently shitty it is to pounce on me right as we started a mental health break. Cause now we have to put all of that healing and working through our issues aside just to deal with someone else’s baseless accusations.
Anyways after reading more of her post I’d like to make some things very clear. 1. I hold no hatred towards created systems. 2. We have never, and will never claim to have qualifications we do not. 3. The anon Sophie received saying the person has talked with me. I’d wager a good bet is someone lying. I don’t talk to many people off site. My only bet for who it could be already deactivated their blog. 4. Sophie claims that we don’t have any blog before December of 2024. Our second earliest blog, Auklet’s blog, was created on November 18th. This can be easily seen by just checking the day the intro post was published.
Tumblr media
5. This is not a throwaway blog. If it was, I wouldn’t be mouse brained enough to put my name to it. And finally. Number 6. This is something that genuinely pissed me off so much. The fact that she implies I made up the whole thing about Lotus. I had a whole thing written for this but I realized it got into a vent tangent. So all I’ll say is that if attacking us while we’re down wasn’t enough, you choose to claim we’re making things up about our own struggles. Genuinely what is your problem?
Anyways I’ll probably see what other bs I have to deal with then just log off for the night.

So Sandstorm is part of your System, so therefore the anon little is also part of your System, correct?
If so, do you have anything to say about Sophie's accusation about the link with system-facts? Would you even know the answer?
I don’t know who the “anon little” is, but yesx Sandstorm is part of our system. I can say with full confidence no one in our system was behind system-facts. I believe her accusations are, at best, a poorly placed attack on Sandstorm’s character. And at worst, a blatant attempt at slander.
There are multiple ways to put it forward that we did not run system-facts. A pretty easy one is that it was never in the blog list on my account. We only have ever had this one account on tumblr, so I don’t believe there is some secret alt that the blog sat on. There is another way I can prove Sandstorm specifically could not have ran that blog. Because by the time she formed, the systems-facts blog was already deleted.
I don’t want to start any fight with Sophie. All I wish is for her to retract her statement and to keep our names out of her mouth..

Hey — jsyk, I support you, and I hope you’re doing okay. I hope that your triggered alters (unsure preferred terminology) are okay. I hope things can improve. And I hope people lay off you.
Thank you. Genuinely.

I’m writing this post as an apology. And I don’t expect to be forgiven. But we need to take accountability.
Many people in syscourse have received anti created system asks in the past week or so. I am saddened to say I know who the culprit behind it is. One of our headmates, Lotus. She was behind almost all of it.
Lotus is mentally quite young. For her safety, I won’t say how young. But she is the same age as we were bodily when we went through a very tough time. This time caused an intense amount of paranoia for all of us. Mainly the idea that our friends don’t actually like us, and that people are constantly trying to mock us. Unfortunately, a mix of Lotus’s young age and the paranoia caused her to lash out.
I don’t say this to excuse what she did. There is no excuse. But I just want to share as much as we can without compromising our safety, in hope that at the very least, people understand. On one paw what she did was awful, but on the other, she’s a scared kid who’s paranoid that everyone is making fun of her and stealing her space. There’s some nuance there.
I don’t think I can truly express how sorry I am for everything she’s done. And I don’t expect forgiveness from anyone. I just ask for understanding, and a second chance. Me and Auklet are working with her to try and help alleviate these issues.
Thank you for your time, and hopefully understanding. I hope you can give us a second chance. I can promise we will do better.
Following this message, we as a collective will take a break from interacting with syscourse.

Endogenic is not a synonym for Non Disordered.
Non Disordered is not a synonym for Endogenic
Please stop treating these terms like that.
Sincerely, a non disordered traumagenic system.

Using the dissociative diagnostic criteria to invalidate endogenics is like reading a book called "How to Identify Hummingbirds" and going "Aha! Pigeons aren't real birds! Only Hummingbirds are real birds!"
Like
The fuck?
There are many types of birds (systems) with their own characteristics, and using a (imperfect) baseline for one specific type doesn't mean the others don't exist - just that they aren't that one specific type

Just because you're invested in a new media while going through a stressful or traumatic time doesn't mean you'll automatically split an introject. Stop convincing people that interacting with media automatically equals splitting an introject.

I think you missed the point of the analogy. A tomato, in a culinary sense, is a vegetable. Someone saying a tomato isn’t a vegetable is inherently wrong. But at the same time, that distinction is practically meaningless as the distinction between a fruit and vegetable is about as vague as the distinction between systems and general plurality.
Secondly, I don’t know where you got that I was excluding endogenic systems as a whole. I simply said “this group of plurals are not systems but still plural.” While pointing out that the line between the two is practically nonexistent. That is not exclusion, it’s just a statement based on what I know.
Created system discourse is up again. Might as well share my viewpoint
I believe in the idea of created plurality, but not created systems. Systems specifically are an involuntary coping mechanism. You can be plural by choice, but not a system by choice.
I also believe this distinction is, at the end of the day, nearly pointless semantics. The distinction between plurality vs system is a mostly superficial one.
It’s like how tomatoes are culinarily considered a vegetable, but people still call them fruits anyway. Like yeah it’s technically wrong but also who gives a piss.
Tl;Dr. plural can be by choice. Systems can’t. But The line between the two is practically paper thin so who gives a shit.

Agreed.
This is how I feel seeing “CDDs require trauma” and “DID isn’t the alter disorder.” Circulate around again.
Non disordered systems still exist.

You can acknowledge there is a distinction, and still say that it doesn’t matter. I do feel that it is a distinction to make, but at the same time, I recognize that there is very little difference between someone who is a system, and someone who is plural. This is not splitting terms, it’s acknowledging a difference, even if it’s a small one.
