Tailwind or Canyon could be cool, so far as canon wings of fire characters go? They're both skywings and siblings. Canyon is Scarlet's... tragically deceased husband who uhhh suffered a truly, truly awful and unpreventable death... in her arena. Tailwind is the Guide to The Dargon World narrator we learn of Canyon from.

i drew both of them! tailwind has become one of my favorite random side characters in the series, i loved their entry in the guidebook XD. both of them have colors taken from pictures of the grand canyon, and tailwind is wearing blacksmith goggles!

Starflight ✦

a little scruffy like a scardycat, but considered pretty and fit looking for a nightwing of his era. Starflight was hatched on the brightest night hidden from moonlight, so in my design, while they are visible- his stars, tears and the moons on his wings do not glow like on other nightwings, but are darker!

as a librarian he wears a moonstone chain with beads for each of his friends and always has a wooden tablet as his scroll on hand. i imagine he would wear some kind of wrapping to protect his eyes to light sensitivity post injury, but he doesnt need it all the time.

im not sure how long it's gonna take me to make them digital and post them but i have all my tribe headcannons already planned out in my sketchbook. but for now im gonna try to do more protags!

I am genuinely shocked I did not post this on tumblr yet? Completed this for Artfight 2024, and it's one of my favourite things from last year. I'm not really into WoF anymore, but I do enjoy getting to draw people's OCs.

did my attempt on the sandwing sister designs :D! They're probably some of the most drawn wings of fire characters, so i really tried to make them unique. Blister is the outcome of me shoving the most devious, malicious, sinister features a dragon could possibly have together, just because of the amount of times she's described as evil in the series.
