Movies and television strongly influence the way people behave. Do you agree or disagree? Use reasons and specific examples to support your answer.
writing:
Most people think that only instagramors could affect society. Personally I see that television shows and movies play a vital role in our life influencing our behavior positively as much as negatively, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, the movie provides evidence of some illnesses like autism. It indirectly awards the watcher giving him advice on how to behave correctly with someone who has the same illness instead of being rejected or exposed to bullying from his surroundings because of his difference. The movie “The autistic Daughter” seems to be a good example to teach us how to understand the autistic’s world and how to help him live.
Moreover, thanks to some T.V channels, we are alert about current issues. For instance from climate change, global warming and the feasibility of the extension of some animals like Sea turtle. All of these are the result of our disruptive behavior toward nature: throwing garbage anywhere, spilling toxic materials in the sea, and the exaggerated usage of cars. In my opinion, the perfect examples that need to be mentioned are the famous channels National Geographic and Al Jazeera Documentary.
Added to that, television supplies us with a variety of programs presenting such as successful experiences of those who got the jump on cancer, on the dependence on alcohol or some drugs. It motivates someone who lives the same situation encouraging him to build healthy habits like practicing sports, eating healthy food or discovering new hobbies. The experience of my neighbor is compelling evidence of this. He had a family problem and in order to forget his painful reality he resorted to addiction . One day while he was zapping the channels by chance he found a guest in a T.V show who talked about his tricky experience with alcohol, how it affected not only his health but also his relationships and his work career ending his story by how he got the help, the difficult stages of treatment and the support received from his relatives. All of these helped him to get a new start. Thus, due to that example, my neighbor first of all, he accepted his situation acknowledging that the problems could never be solved by negligence, and learned how irresponsible behavior could have bad consequences. Then, he asked for help from an Addiction treatment center.
However, we can not deny that T.v programs and movies provide our society with negative role-models. The weakest bulk in this case are the teenagers.it profits their Intellectual and psychological fragility, the Girl’s obsession with beauty creating fake beauty standards. As a result, we see for example, girls running after esthetic surgeries risking her life just to seem like their favorite actress.
In addition, children are perfect imitators. In fact, they can be a victim of violence scenes seen in action movies. Parents should look after their child’s shoulder. I think in that way because I remember the accident that happened to my little cousin when he imitated one of the moves watched in the movie. Unfortunately, he ended up breaking his left hand.
By way of conclusion, I insist again that everything in our life has two sides, even entertainment materials such as T.V Shows or movies .So as we are the consumers, we must be careful and responsible about our choices of whatever we watch or whatever we use.

A summary for chapter 1 and 2 of the book Science of overcoming procrastination
Have you faced or are facing one of these situations? you planned to start working early morning but turn off your alarm to get more minutes of sleeping or you sit in front of your desk to study but find yourself organizing a messy drawer or you check your phone notifications instead. If we want to make an explanation of these situations, each one of us finds himself doing random things just to avoid doing his tasks.
Scientifically this is called procrastination. That means someone delay his work until tomorrow. Somebody delays his work for various reasons, as explained by Patrick King in the first chapter of his book science of overcoming procrastination, for example, he feels bored with the task, or he looks for the right opportunity to work,  but second the King there is no right moment to work because our brain always pulls toward delaying. Thus each one of us must beat procrastination completion his job at the time throw some steps listed in the first chapter:
First, it’s important to learn how to inhibit yourself from being impulsive by random things like notifications on your phone or chatting instead of doing your work.
Second, organizing is one of the steps, which can help you focus on your work: it is better to start working in front of an organized desk instead of wasting time looking for an object under a mountain of papers. Then when you to-do list the writer insisted on the necessity of doing step by step rather than writing a whole list but we end by doing nothing from our missions.
Patrick King talked also about the ability to evaluate the work under our nose. For instance, the individual should set how much time each task requires, and evaluate the level of the difficulty. If we can apply this step named task monitoring, we will save much time and at the same time, we avoid procrastinating for example a task needed just 1 hour, until tomorrow.
Usually, the idea of starting work is a difficult step. So the writer suggested that the individual start with the easiest task prepare himself and then take the others until finished all. This is what is called task initiation.
Thus, everything is turning about control, in other words, each one must control his life: time, emotions, to reach success and avoid regret.
There are numerous types of procrastinators. This is what the second chapter of the book was dedicated to. The writer not only focused on the types but also invited us (the readers) to recognize which type of procrastinator we are.
Firstly, the thrill-seeker is a typical person who prefers working under pressure, as he can be creative only at the last moment before the deadline. King supported his idea by taking Lawrence, as an example, who started on his presentation just a day before the deadline while he had a whole month assigned to finish his task.
Someone can’t wonder when hears that there are who feel afraid of failure but success it’s strange. As explained by the writer, there is one who fears discovering his abilities just like Nicole; she has been classified as an avoider because she delayed working on her ideas because of the fear of bad judgments.
Last but not least, running after the perfectionists you to procrastinate too. Perfectionists looking for presenting a job without any errors that are why they delay their work or let it untouched while they are capable to present a good job.
Finally, there are a huge number of people who are always busy but they end up finishing nothing. For instance, they jump from one task to another at the same time but without accomplishing any one. The right step is to work step by step when someone finishes the first job and starts the second giving each task the time required.
In the second part of chapter 2, Patrick King wrote about Impulsivity: it is a phenomenon in which the person is pulled by his emotions (tiredness, boring, afraidness, so on). he prefers to pass the time between chatting, playing, and watching movies instead of doing their duties. This type of person not only acts without planning for the different steps of his life but also considers work the synonym for stress and fatigue. That is why they are usually, stuck in their comfort zone (stress-free).
Like advice, the writer performed a method, which can beat procrastination: free yourself from the tide of your Anger, Hunger, Tiredness, and Loneliness to make an advancement in your life. In other words, firstly, never make a decision when you’re angry, secondly, give yourself a break when you feel tired then back to work.
Ultimately, everything depends on the person. He should control the different parts of his life like time, work, and emotions. This would be achieved when each one of us set his mind to beat procrastination focusing on his tasks.
