them: so why do you like gravity falls? me: i like the art style (the storytelling is phenomenal that even after more than 10 years of the show airing i still find small details that correlates to later/earlier episodes and even transcends seasons it doesn't fail to blow my mind everytime i watch it and i will forever yearn to find another show that comes close to what gravity falls was)

petition to have nonchalant contestants in reality tv shows. most of reality tv are extremely dramatised. i want a survival show where everyone panics and competes over resources but there's a contestant that casually builds a fire and starts cooking like they're on food network. give me constestants that face near-death experiences with a shrug and an "I guess? Sure, why not?" and get on with it even before the host finishes counting down for their turn. bonus points if the producers use elevator music whenever they're on screen.

this whole watcher situation strangely reminded me of a03 and how they would always be given overwhelming funds by users with just a budget transparency and a progress bar. i think what we can take away from here is that users should not be given a singular option, let alone something that would cost them, but a choice - loyalty always rewards more.

the complexity of shows like the bad batch is so easily missed by adults because its an animated series. most would think that animated = for kids. which is such a shame because im in my bed sad that 5 identical men with different haircuts and physical capabilities are incomplete but are so desperately trying to survive and return to one another with the help of young girl who also look exactly like them but with much better hair. wouldn't it be nice for everyone to experience this pain too.

isn't it wonderful how we can write analytical essays, practically a full thesis, about a fictional couple (usually a blonde and dark haired pair) but our minds rot when we're asked to write a 500 word essay about any topic relating to our actual uni course. a truly bizarre phenomenon.

aziraphale isn’t right for the job. right listen the job description as per metraton is that they need an angel who is:
a leader (azi was supposed to command a platoon in go1 for the armageddon but that didn’t come into place did it)
honest (the angel tends to be honest yes but sugarcoats everything and in cases would present white lies)
don’t just tell people what they want to hear (please refer to every interaction he has had with every human he has encountered)
i’m not discrediting azi and saying he doesn’t have any of these qualities however, metatron appointing him as supreme leader is the equivalent of your company’s HR assigning someone who has actively gone against the organization to being the director. which begs the question, what does metatron really want from him?

a reminder that the words “i don’t want to go back to heaven” were uttered by aziraphale himself. he only changed his mind when metatron offered the idea that he could reappoint crowley as an angel.
