When I see art depicting Jesus interacting with mortals, either on Earth or welcoming a new person to the Kingdom, I get emotional. Never fails.

Check out the new website for The Sisters of Life
We believe every person is valuable and sacred. We believe that every person is good, loved, unique and unrepeatable. We believe that every person’s life has deep meaning, purpose and worth. In fact, we give our lives for that truth.

“It was madness for any man to offer his flesh to eat but they were not long left in the dark as our Lord corrected them, saying that, not a mere man, but the “Son Of Man” would give it.  As usual that title referred to the expiatory sacrifice He would offer. Not the dead Christ would believers feed upon, but the glorified Christ in heaven Who died, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven…. But whenever someone correctly understood what he said, but found fault with it, He repeated what he said. And in this discourse, Our Lord repeated five times what he said about His Body and Blood.”   - Fulton Sheen, The Life of Christ

Repeat "help me" over and over.
Open your Bible and read.
Utterly valid.
For days when the enemy is trying to slither his way in, remember to continue: - praying (Don’t ever stop talking to God, love. Tell Him everything. And if you’re feeling empty and like you have no words, know that it’s okay to sit in silence with Him and know that it’s okay to repeat Help me over and over and over.) - praising Him (Put on some Praise & Worship music and sing through the tears because God is still good in the storm.) - reading/studying His Word (Open your Bible, open your Bible, open your Bible. You want to hear God’s voice? Open your Bible. Open your heart. Read your Bible. Study your Bible. God is going to give you exactly what you need. You know this from experience.) - leaning on others (You cannot, cannot carry all of this on your own. Reach out. Talk to someone. Hug someone. Love someone.)
