figures that my first real post would be spn related and a drabble -
Dean's mind swims as he watches you, a pretty young thing, innocent and carefree.
You were dancing, swaying around and having the time of your life at the bar Dean brought you to. It was heaven for him to see you so bright, lighting up the bar and inspiring everyone to let go of their troubles.
You'd think he might be more subtle, but there's no way he could. His face flushes, his eyes water and flit around to look at every sweet piece of you and your figure.
He loves it. Loves everything about you.
He just can't seem to bring the words, stuttering and then covering it up with a cool smile and somewhat sleazy grin.
You wish he'd say the words. You won't have a thing to do with him until he does. It'll take a long time, and a lot of reassuring him, but you know that you'll get there.
You will get there.
