Panel 1: Then she flinches away, raising her hands to shield herself from a bit of thrown rubble that hits the wall near her head.

Rebel: Another one o’ them dead ones!

Panel 2: She stumbles back, trying to explain herself to the hostile group of rebels but unable to.

Hollow One: I’m not dead!

Rebels: Back, monster! Kill it!

Panel 3-5: She flees. Catching sight of her reflection in the broken window of an apothecary, she startles back in fright.

Panel 6: She stares, taking in the ashen skin, the white-streaked hair, the blown pupils, the rope scar, the mutilated ears, the inky tear stains, the dark blood dried in streams down her neck from her ears and mouth. Searching her face for familiarity, she touches the freckle under her eye, and realizes that it is, indeed, herself.

Panel 7: She walks away from the city alone, into the snowy woods. As she walks away from town into the winter night she leaves a trail of bloodied footprints in the snow.
