A “new and improved” Kingdom of God

When God is done saving all on earth, what then?  Where to from here?

Habakkuk 2.14 forecasts  a future time when planet earth is chock full of the knowledge of the lord and virtually every human on the planet (Yes, that includes you and me!) Is saved and transformed into a glorified spirit (Revelation 20.4).  Where will God go then?

Retire to Florida?  The French Riviera?  Alpha Centauri perhaps?

After Alexander the Great had conquered most of the known world he is famously quoted as saying with much  disappointment,  “There are no more worlds to conquer!”

Isaiah 9.7 says that the Increase of God’s government will never end!  Not ever!  How can an all-powerful cosmos-creating god produce infinite growth on a finite planet earth? 

Mankind started small

The human experience began small in the garden of eden.  Just the two of them:  humble gardeners. Genesis 2.15  Hardly a prospect for huge growth even conceding they were naked, okay with it, and sure to reproduce!   And yet there will be some 8 billion of us by the year 2025.  Some 100 billion babies have been born on earth over all time.  Revelation 20.13 says sometime in the future God will resurrect them all!  Really?  100 billion packed cheek to jowl? (Well, hopefully a few billion at a time.)

Standing room only

After Earth is brimming with people of godly knowledge and deeds, (Habakkuk 2.14) where to then?  End of the line?  Game over?  Fini?  

And just how did we earthlings get where we are now?  

Genesis 1.1 tells us, “In the beginning god created the heavens and the earth.”  In an eye-blink, was it all made? Only 6000-ish years ago as some believe?  (See articles at lifehopeandtruth.com.)

Scientists currently estimate the age of the cosmos at some 13.7 billion years (britannica.com).  A few decades back estimates ranged as high as 24 billion.  The late Carl Sagan sagely opined, “The size and age of the Cosmos are beyond ordinary human understanding.”

Safe to say, God has been at this awhile!  

To the surprise of most folks, John 1.1 documents a biblical beginning that precedes the other biblical beginning of the book of Genesis.  Jesus Christ, in a previous persona as “the word,” being together with God from the very start of creation.  And even before that!  The two “budding” pre-eminent scientists of creation!  

Intriguingly, the Bible records god delegated to Jesus  nearly all tasks pertaining to man, including the weighty task of building a cosmos for mankind to inhabit: a very big cosmos and no mistake! 

 Try to imagine the enormous scope of Jesus’ universe-planning/engineering/assembling assignment.  Must have taken billions of years and a staff of millions! Revelation 5.11

Or do we exaggerate?  Grossly overestimating the need for god’s time, effort and angel-power?  The Psalmist of 33.9 poses a far more efficient approach with a vastly shorter delivery schedule, “For he spake, and it was done….”

Well, either way, once the planet was formed, billions of years ensued of seemingly endless emptiness, then long eras of widely varied lifeforms ranging from single cell creatures, to enormous dinosaurs of eons ago, to today’s blue whale, biggest animal ever on earth.  But the trophy goes to the largest life-form extant, a single giant underground fungus extending through 2,385 acres (965 hectares), nearly four square miles, in a national forest in the state of Oregon, USA.

With the completion of the planetary platform ready for development/remodeling (Genesis 1.2 Psalm 104.30) the next disastrous 6000 years transpired entirely under the rule of Satan: deceiver, destroyer, father of lies.  (lifehopeandtruth.com) God almighty weighing in occasionally as it suited his purpose.   

After billions of years of a planet with no humans aboard, only in the comparative last few moments in time has mankind been introduced.  A mere six millennia of god/man interaction ensue including:

- the first humans Adam and Eve, who summarily, stupidly, dumped their creator/provider/savior, abandoned their pristine garden home, and blindly bolted (still stark naked, mind you) into the spiritual unknown!  A deathtrap sprung by the gross lie of Satan the devil, commencing 6000 years of human suffering still ongoing even today.

Six millennia have passed since first earthlings Adam and Eve.  The bible reveals another millennia still to come before work on earth is done.  Revelation 20.4. (lifehopeandtruth.com)

The future!  Where away?

Prior to the twentieth century (think 1899), astronomers were aware of only a single galaxy, our own Milky Way, and only one lonely “big blue marble” planet in a habitable zone of its star, our precious planet Earth. Fast forward to our time today.  NASA astronomers gazing far out in space now estimate over 100 billion galaxies including billions of planets like ours in “goldilocks” habitable zones from their star, (Think “three bears;” not too hot, not too cold, but just right.) capable of having liquid water and supporting life.  

So, after earth is filled with knowledge of the Lord, where to from here?  

Think Star Trek!  “SPACE!  The final frontier.  …to boldly go where no man has gone before!” 

God’s kings and priests, (holy saints resurrected, dusted off, retrained and promoted Revelation 5.10) then become astronauts; space travelers to transport God’s word and a euphoric society, the biblical Kingdom of God (Revelation 21.4) to the outer reaches of space! To civilize the cosmos!

Isaiah 9.7 astonishingly assures to all mankind:  

“Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.”

Easter is not a bona fide biblical holy day!

Question:  Some visitors to lifehopeandtruth.com might ask, “What’s wrong with Easter?”

Answer:  Well, for starters, it’s not on the list!

Astonished Questioner: “There’s a list?”

Answer:  There is indeed a list of official forever biblical festivals!  Always has been!  You’ll find it at Leviticus chapter 23 with references throughout God’s Holy Bible, old testament and new, observed by God’s holy people front to back. And still diligently observed by His faithful people today. Revelation 14.12.

And surprisingly to most church-goers, Easter is not on the list!  Not even close!  

Jesus was not resurrected on Sunday!  (See our articles.)  Furthermore, Easter is the name of an ancient pagan sex goddess prohibited by the first commandment. (Google Ishtar at britannica.com for the lurid details.) The word “Easter” in Acts 12.4 (KJV) was a devious plant, a “clean miss” error corrected to “Passover” in nearly all modern bible versions.

When Jesus arrives, he won’t touch pagan Easter with a stick!

Jesus is the inventor/creator of God’s holy days!

Few know that in John chapter 1, verses1-3, eons ago Almighty God the Father in Heaven delegated to his fellow God and co-creator, Jesus Christ, (aka “the Word”) nearly all tasks regarding mankind, including the building of our enormous cosmos.  (Background for the reader: Jesus was the one in John chapter one known as “The Word.”  Until he set aside his universe-creating supernatural powers, and came down to become human, born to a virgin, laid in a manger!  Since then, he became, of course, Jesus Christ: son of God, savior of the world, coming king.)

Yes, it was, in fact, Jesus Christ who was designated by Almighty God to be “the master builder of the cosmos” and everything in it!

A major part of his creation, indeed one of the most telling, is the inventing, painstakingly crafting, organizing and implementing of God’s holy days, God’s forever (then and now) seven annual holy festivals. And, most essentially, the fulfilling of them by Jesus’ deeds recorded in the new testament, from springtime Passover through the Feast of Tabernacles in the fall they reveal the chronology of his master plan for the future of the universe.   He recorded forever these marvelous, most meaningful and revealing festivals in his holy bible.  See Leviticus 23 and our articles.

The biblical holy days coming one after the other provide mankind the stepping stones leading each person down God’s narrow path to life eternal; for virtually all who ever lived.  The festivals are annual reminders illuminating the marvelous, miraculous pathway to the great future prize sought by all mankind: escape from death to eternal life!  This never-ending life to be awarded to all who will repent and resolutely learn God’s holy days, and loyally, diligently, courageously observe them. John1.12.

The seven holy festivals rehearsed yearly by God’s servants picture events beginning with Jesus’ bloody sacrifice as Passover lamb to his return as King of Kings at the end of the age.  The holy days depictGod’s master timetable of events leading to the realization of his future kingdom; a major theme running throughout the length and breadth of the bible.

The Leviticus chapter 23 list of God’s festivals includes:

- First in time order, Passover introduces Jesus Christ as son of god, savior and coming king of the earth.  Luke 23.3.

- Next Pentecost, the seedling start of his church:the supernatural, dramatic induction of the very first trainees to become the foundation of his spiritual organization. Acts 2.41.  

- Then the Feast of Trumpets forecasts the actual end-time arrival of Jesus Christ to be crowned king of the planet.  Revelation 11.15

- Next, the Day of Atonement illustrates the removal of Satan the current god of this troubled world.  Revelation 20.2. 2Corinthians 4.4

- Finally, with Satan gone, the commencement of the great human harvest of virtually all who ever lived depicted by the 8-day Feast of Tabernacles: the launch of Jesus’ new and improved society right here on the face of his restored planet earth:  The Kingdom of God.  Revelation 20.4 Acts 3.21.  

Note: as essential as it is to the rest of the story, God created no holy day commemorating the day of Jesus’ resurrection!

The biblical holy days foretell the end of all mankind’s troubles and evil.  Satan’s world will be replaced by a universal society of peace, happiness and well-being for virtually every human ever born on the planet.  An estimated 100 billion are to be resurrected. Revelation 20.13. (A few billion at a time, we hope!) Planet earth will be ruled by a single all-powerful benevolent governor, Jesus Christ, able to resolve any and all disputes that may arise, even between entire nations.  Isaiah 2.4

Conclusion: Easter is not a bona fide biblical holy day!  

Never was!  Rather merely an ancient annual pagan party fashioned by ungodly men inspired by Satan the devil.  A reprising of carnal, unbiblical, ribald spring equinox shenanigans of long ago, cleverly painted over with a thin facade of “respectable” religion so-called.

At Jesus’ return to dramatically implement the Kingdom of God, his grand government of planet earth and all human society (Revelation 11.15), infamous, non-biblical, pagan Easter will be forever relegated to the dustbin of false religion!
