highlights from today:
Went shopping at Walmart. I got exactly what I went for, which was very satisfying. However, whenever I buy stuff I begin to get anxious that I have too much Stuff, so sometime during this week I want to hardcore declutter around my room, closet, bathroom, etc.
Vlogged and edited a little. It’s so fun!! 😁
Spent most of the afternoon doing chores and coding my website
I’ve been feeling a lot of regret over random life events recently. However, the only way I feel better is if I work on improving myself somehow.. so I guess that’s a good habit to establish.
Will try to write more tomorrow. Toodles

some highlights from today:
woke up, read for 15 minutes, and immediately got to work on building my blog !! productive morning
watched Kelsey and Cody vlogs for half the afternoon
went hiking with my parents
had some good ass Nepali food at a local restaurant
That’s all that happened.
my window blinds kept slapping against their frame last night and I was too lazy to fix it, so I had very sporadic sleep. No bueno!! My plan is to be asleep by 9:30 tonight !! 😄 This week is important to me that I get good habits established before having to be away from home for a month 😢
that’s all for today folks tune in next time for some good fun sampada life updates ✌️ peace out

change of pace
I've been traveling quite a bit recently, which is fun but honestly pretty exhausting. When I have been in town rested and back on normal schedule, I have been really enjoying my time this summer. The freedom to do whatever is nice, I'm grateful I didn't pack my time with stuff to do. During the school year, I completely overloaded myself with my coarse work and extracurriculars and it definitely took its toll on me. So this summer has been a really nice change of pace for sure.
Speaking of pace, I've been trying to get my mileage up for running. My goal for the end of summer is to be at 20 miles a week. Currently I'm hitting around the 10 mark, so I will probably start increasing my distance. One obstacle to staying consistent with runs will be being away from home for the entirety of July (I have summer programs at Yale and Brown).. but I will try to not let that stop me. I plan to get gym memberships for my stay, and also hopefully the campuses will be nice for outdoor runs.
Last night, my dad and I decided to go biking on a whim and ended up going 15 miles. My dad kept saying, "fifteen miles, that's no joke" but also said it was light work which my mom and I giggled at. We plan to go biking every evening now. I really enjoy it.
I have to admit, it's pretty strange having to set so much time in the day aside for working out, but I guess that's just how athletes function. It's a new thing for me but I honestly really like it.
