I’m kinda glad they gave an explanation why Han Kyul is always riding public transport and it adds to his characterization as a musical genius always in search of inspiration.

Homie is one of the hottest pop producers, he must be making bank, so why is he being shoved around in ep 1 to get from the concert arena to the studio?

So now it makes more sense how he could fall for Soo Rim’s voice. It’s not just the angelic quality, but it’s inspiring the musical workings of his psyche. There are a lot of subtleties in this show that really add to the whole of this drama. Even though ep 8 was a firestorm, there’s a lot of potential for this kdrama to end on a high note. 

(I actually hope K takes a hiatus from Sole Music and comes back in 3 years to make super awesome music with Soo Rim. Dude’s gotta figure out his life for a bit.)
