I love seeing TLT tattoos in the wild! We had a fan in the USA who has a TLT forearm tattoo who was at the barricade of like four different shows, and the tattoo helped us recognize them! (It was a zero_one skull icon!)

ive been listening to tlt music for over a decade, and rust is actually such an insane album, the songs r absolutely incredible, you guys being known as just the “fnaf song band” is such an understatement to the pure talent that your orignal songs are, i saw you guys live in glasgow and it was seriously the best night of my life, im autistic and had a real hard time a few years back and listening to you and yoavs music did seriously help, it gave me a sense of self again, knowing that i can still enjoy the things i love

i really do think you guys are incredible at what yous do, and be alone and goliath are definately my top songs, i hope you guys come back to glasgow because id love to see yous again!!

Ok wait because rust is like tied (?) to their riot armor then what happens if an animal finds it can they become rust or does a host have to be human?

None of the tombsonas need to be human, and the riot armor doesn’t need to be riot armor! It’s just something that turns the host into a symbol of rebellion, at which point it is, by definition, Rust’s armor. Get what I’m saying? One host can put down the armor (or be killed) and be finished as Rust and the next host doesn’t need to pick up THAT armor, though in some stories they certainly could.

First of all I’m honestly VERY surprised that two demos we played on a 2022 panel have gotten so many fans lol but yeah it’s def still on our list of stuff we’re working on. Under The Sun will be coming before STHU tho! Also Big Crumble and Love Songs In A Zombie Apocalypse are both songs for my next solo record, End Times - they’re not TLT songs!

Orphans was amazing, one of my favorite music video you guys have ever done!

I was wondering who why you guys chose to do 4 singles this time instead of 3? ^-^

Mainly it was about schedule! On zero_one we had fandom/single songs in between the single releases, but because we didn’t do that this time we had space for an extra pre-album video drop! We do still have some fandom/single releases on our schedule but they’re coming after Rust drops and they’re not from the album.

Hi Sam! I've absolutely loved all the live action music videos you have been working on for the Rust album, but I was curious if we will get another animated music video soon? It would be so cool to see another music video with Studio Meala's animation!

We’re def gonna do another music video with them, though it might not be coming as soon as people think! We do also have a very very fun different Studio Meala project we’ve been sitting on that we’re excited to get out there!

Congratulations on the new album, I personally love it, and "Orphans" is one of my favorite music videos, but I have a little doubt. Where is Geist? I personally love its design and would like to see more of it and its story, but I'm worried that it hasn't been relevant lately.

Howdy! We love Geist too!

The storytelling answer is “we want to do more to establish Geist in the worldbuilding and continuity before it starts showing up,” and the practical answer is we did a lot of live action videos and we haven’t built a Geist costume yet lol

Stick with us! As we do more with the characters story-wise OUTSIDE of just music videos, you’ll definitely see more of Geist :)

I honestly was pretty much unfamiliar w TLT when Yoav and I met - though, like everyone on earth, I’d probably heard that Spooky Scary Skeletons remix! I was an MLP watcher back in the day, but not to the point where I was on fan sites or engaging in the fan art / music.

In terms of TLT stuff I didn’t work on, “I Can’t Fix You” is absolutely awesome! It’s one of my favorites that we perform in concert too!

Oh definitely! Just with the rollout of this album (and our upcoming world tour!) we wanted to show off the IRL characters/costumes a little more! I think all the other videos we have planned this year are animated - and we may have another lil music video on the way when the album drops :)

Hi Sam small question do you play any video games if so witch ones

I *do* play video games but lately I haven’t been (though I desperately want to get Monster Hunter Wilds, Oblivion Remaster, and that Expedition 33 or whatever it’s called game). Between writing for the cartoons, TLT’s music, TLT’s upcoming tour, conventions on many weekends, TLT’s non-musical projects, parenthood, etc etc, I truly haven’t had time. Lately I’m lucky if my wife and I can watch an episode or two of something together after putting our son to bed before we pass out! 😭 That said, so few of my peers in entertainment have real job security right now, so ultimately I do feel really fortunate - but my gaming time has definitely fallen by the wayside for the sake of work-life-balance!

Hello! Just wondering, are fans allowed to make fan-merch and sell it if they made it themselves? E.G. The living tombstone prints, badges etc just for fun?

Do whatever! I do think if you’re selling it online there’s a chance our merch company might end up issuing a takedown if they see it, which they have the right to do contractually, but I definitely don’t personally have a problem with you making and selling your own stuff if it’s coming from a place of being a fan! And I appreciate the no AI stance!
