A Brief Summary of Supernatural in General:

nathaniel bacon is pretty much the reason american society today is fucked up and why it was fucked up for so many years

like one he disregarded the government and went and killed a bunch of native americans because he felt entitled to their land

then he was arrested for it but his fuckin followers bailed him out and he and he and his gross men wrote a document called ‘manifest and declaration of the people’ that demanded all native americans be either killed or forcibly removed from their land.

and then he burned jamestown to the ground which as we know WAS PROBABLY ONLY JUST RECOVERING FROM LIKE OUTBREAKS OF DISEASE AND CANNIBALISM

then he dropped dead of dysentery lol but people who admired him basically took control of the government and were like “man we don’t want the poor to uprise again so we better make sure they’re allowed to expand onto native american land and also they don’t have to work the land so much we should prolly make chattel slavery legal just in case.”

wow i wonder why they were worried about the poor uprising maybe it was becauSE BEING POOR FUCKING SUCKS and needs to be addressed on economic and social levels but clearly the best solution was to make a bunch of other people poor and/or property and lay the foundations for hundreds of years of displacement, racism, and abuse and the deaths of millions because THAT could never go wrong
