Tonight I feel sunken into a substance, something sticky that stings when you pull on it. I feel it wrapping itself around my waist, ankle, shoulder. It halos around my head too and it pulls me down. I feel it in my sunken cheeks and in my eyes. It's a heavy weight about my chest, keeping me captive in a dark cavity of my conscious. I feel stranded alone on an island that never sees the sun. I feel locked in a basement that's cold and wet. My eyes are welling, but are refusing to cry. They tell me they had enough, and no longer wish to play a role in my servitude to sadness. Powerpuff Girls Cosplay Makeup Tutorial Mr.Mime

Today has been difficult for me. I cried three times trying to straighten my hair. I imagined life with hormones, hair plugs, and a nose job. And I envied that girl staring back at me just beyond the threshold of the mirror. Hair for trans people has so much meaning and impact. I want to thank all the people who have complimented my hair. Have told me it looks lush, voluminous, even juicy once lol. These words help me happy cry as opposed to threse tears of longing. And when I go through rough patches those kind words keep me afloat. I am eternally grateful.
