Sam Marsh. Eighteen. Taken. I've been licking this carpet for three hours and I still don't feel like a lesbian!

Sam leans against the drinks table as she surveyed what was available to them, pulling a bottle of Bailey’s forward for herself and a bottle of vodka as well as can of diet soda. Grabbing two of the red cups that were stacked up on the side of the table, she begins to pour the bottles into them, planning the drinks carefully. Peering up at Kylie when she tells her to be careful, she raises and eyebrow and then rolls her eyes. “I’ve been doing this for you for ages. I know what to do, and frankly I’m offended every time you tell me to be careful.” She told her, holding up a finger accusingly.
For her own, something complicated that might just get her mind of Wendy till her arrival, and for Kylie, considering the fact she didn’t like to drink much, a diet coke with just a bit of vodka, which really was Sam’s specialty. Holding up the drinks, she grins at her. “There.” She said as she gave Kylie her drink, and taking her own takes a big sip and then turns to survey the crowd once more. “God, I feel like half these people just showed up out of nowhere, how does Token even know all these people?” She asks, taking another big gulp. “These parties are always so weird.”

"What? No, dude, it’s fine" Kylie shook her head, nudging Sam slightly. "If I was dating someone, I’d worry about them too." Kylie didn’t have someone to date though, and instead she focused all her energy into worrying about Sam, and sometimes Kenny, depending on how reckless the blonde was being. Sam, on the other hand, was almost always on Kylie’s mind - even when she wasn’t worrying. Kylie wasn’t even sure if she was a lesbian, but she knew that she liked Sam, more than a best friend should. She’s pretty sure ‘just’ best friends are supposed to feel something over a little arm touch.
Kylie rolled her eyes, pushing non-platonic thoughts of Sam out of her mind, allowing Sam to lead her away. She leans against the drinks table, waiting for Sam to make her whatever she wanted to. “Be careful with what you put in there” Kylie reminds her, her lack of experience with drinking, her diabetes and her mother all on her mind. Sam was all too aware of all of this, of course, they’d been best friends since before pre school, but still. Kylie was nothing if not a little over cautious.

"If nothing interesting happens in the next five minutes I'll make us both drinks with whatever crap they have, although if they only have cordial I'm going to be really annoyed." Sam crossed her arms over her chest and flipped her hair off her shoulder in nervous habit. Someone shouted a short distance away and she felt her phone for her pocket again. Wendy was a good girlfriend, and Sam knew that, but her own worry tended to get in her way when it came to going out. She glances at Kylie when she speaks up again, pretending to look a much between nonchalant and bored, but she knows she sees right through it, judging by her reassuring words.
Kylie too often could tell whatever Sam was worrying about, and so she should, after years of friendship, she supposed. Sighing dramatically, she puts her hand on the red head's arm. "You're right, I'm kind of being a self involved dick, I should be enjoying time with you before Wendy drags me off to a room, or makes me sit between her and Bebe while they talk about weird stuff." She gives her a little smile. "It's been five minutes right? I'l make us drinks." Pulling on her sleeve, she practically drags Kylie along towards the drinks table, and it feels more natural just to be happy with her best friend than worried about her girlfriend.

Kylie shrugs, tugging on a piece of her curly red hair, which was mistakenly let loose tonight.  “Nobody here is really qualified to make drinks, so I’d rather any alcohol I consume is made by someone I know. Mixed beverages, you know.” She glances back at their drinks, which appear to have become Tweek’s latest interest, although probably not for the right reasons. She’s hoping she won’t have to hear about how vodka and green cordial are part of the government’s grand plan to brainwash them all.
"But people do that with mixed drinks, too. It just takes them longer to hit that phase." Truthfully, although Kylie hasn’t had much experience with being drunk herself, she’s seen it enough times to know what assholes her classmates become after a few drinks. Kylie glances back at Sam, frowning when she notices the other girl checking her phone. "Wendy’s going to show up, Sam," Kylie nudges Sam gently, ignoring the feeling in her chest "She probably just got held up. She’s with Bebe, and Bebe never shows up on time to these things." She looks down at the floor, not really in the mood to listen to Sam talk about Wendy should be here, as if her company is much more preferable to Kylie’s.

Despite the fact she was incredibly distracted, Sam was glad she had Kylie to keep her company at the party, she was definitely closest to her out of everyone else, and she'd be the person she'd end up going home with. Sighing as she leans against a wall, she smiles at the red head when she suggests she should make the drinks. "I don't think the fact I like to mess around with drinks makes me qualified to make drinks, unlike whoever made that crap." She shakes her head, nodding over at the cups they'd left, which were now being inspected by someone with blonde hair.
"I don't understand how anyone drinks straight alcohol, they just look like assholes wincing and then laughing like 'wow, this is so fun, I'm so drunk.'" She rolls her eyes. She felt a little pissed off, maybe, but she tried to keep it inside, pulling out her phone to check it again. Nothing, again. "Sometimes I hate the fact that people can show up at these whenever, it's like... What time is even appropriate to show up? Do I show up when they say it starts? Because it hasn't even started then? Or do you come late? What if you miss something?" She questions aimlessly, staring up at the ceiling.

Kylie glanced down at the green liquid after Sam’s comment, briefly wondering who had been left to provide the alcohol this time. She took a sip, wincing slightly, and immediately coming to the conclusion this stuff wouldn’t be good for her blood sugar levels. Kylie wasn’t a big drinker, and only ever did drinks that Sam approved of. She didn’t do parties much either, but the pair were going to head to Kylie’s after for their weekly sleepover, so she figured she could sit through a few hours of this. At least it one of Token’s parties; his were usually the most tolerable.
"Maybe you should make the drinks next time, dude" Kylie replied, following Sam’s lead and placing the alcohol down. She didn’t need that kind of stuff in her system, and besides, it was disgusting. "Yours aren’t that bad. Still pretty gross, but they burn less than straight alcohol." Kylie gave her friend a smal smile, well aware the other girl was waiting for Wendy’s arrival. Kylie knew she shouldn’t be jealous - she was going to be the one who went home with Sam tonight - but still, It would mean a few hours of trying to avoid Cartman in Token’s mansion whilst Sam cuddled up to Wendy.

If there was one thing that confused Sam, it was how Token always managed to throw the best parties. There was music pumping through the house from presumably a DJ, some kind of elaborate drinks table and she could have sworn she saw a naked dude running towards the pool. Sipping on something green Kylie had passed her, she winces at how sweet it is. "What is this, straight cordial and vodka?" She questions, placing it down on a table they walk past. "They're getting less creative."
"I swear the more we go to these parties the worse the alcoholic drinks taste. Or maybe they taste worse because they make me think about how it's still illegal." She chuckles, glancing around the room. She wasn't sure when her girlfriend was showing up she'd texted her when she left, but received nothing back. So for now, she focused on Kylie, continuously touching her pocket to make sure her phone was there and she'd feel it if it vibrated.
