that comment about how you should not borrow grief from the future has saved me multiple times from spiraling into an inescapable state of anxiety. like every time i find myself thinking about how something in the future could go wrong i remember that comment and i think to myself: well i never know, it might get better. it might not even happen the way i think it will and if it does happen and it is sad and bad ill be sad about it then, when it happens. and it’s somehow soo freeing

when i was reading the book entangled life which is about fungi and the author merlin sheldrake said that once he got his first author copies he was going to dampen the pages and use them to grow oyster mushrooms and yeast and then use the yeast to brew beer and then drink the beer with the mushrooms to complete the cycle of fungal knowledge. i was like really and truly this guy gets it

Watching City Hunter (2024) movie with my sis and I showed her the Get Wild song from the anime on YouTube. I think it's really cool when live action adaptations use songs from the anime shows because the nostalgia hits different. I didn't really grow up watching City Hunter. In my youth, I saw the Jackie Chan movie, some episodes of the Kdrama with Lee Min Ho, and some parts of the old anime on national TV, so I'm sort of familiar with it.

And then I saw the trailer on Netflix and the opening notes of Get Wild started, and it made me feel ... nostalgic.

Anyway, watch it, it's fun.

I'm tired of my life right now.

I was looking at a Filipino sapphic couple on facebook that i follow. And.

I need to be in a country where this is legal. Yeah they're in the Philippines but they're both rich and maybe their families are supportive.

I just wanna be in a place where if I say "I wanna date that girl", no one is gonna look at me strangely and go what did you say. Maybe I'll still end up married to a guy in the future idk I'm bi, it's in the cards, but why does it have to be a default thing. And I don't even wanna think about sex, just being with someone I have romantic feelings for, no matter their gender... I just feel so tired of everything right now.

This song though.... About a 50-year-old man who's still in the closet. He has a wife and for so long he has hidden himself. But he wants to give in now. He wants to just be himself except he's saying that it's probably too late because it's already been so long....

Yes, this is a parody of a popular OPM song and the ending of the video is meant to be comedic but if you read the comments, this song touched a lot of people.
