You ever stare at Nadia’s bath CG for several minutes straight just in awe

Like her butt is out, it’s phenomenal, yes. But what really does it for me is the backwards glance. The soft yet still intense look in her eye. Parted lips, maybe a long-needed sigh. How intimate of a moment it is, that it almost feels like maybe it wasn’t meant to be seen—but there she is, looking directly at you, inviting you to follow.

And then there’s the way her hair falls in her face, over her shoulder. How it drapes in front of her ear yet tucks behind it. How it waits between her fingers to be released from all the day’s pressure held within, to just flow as freely as the water.

It’s all so beautiful.

the thing about the “oh of course fandom gravitates towards pretty white boys & ignores female characters and characters of color and especially female characters of color, it’s the creators’ fault because they don’t give those characters any depth/plot relevance!!!” argument is that it’s just….. not true. sure there are lots of shows where that happens but there are also LOTS where it doesn’t and fandoms still behave exactly the same. it doesn’t matter how prominently the creators place women of color, because you all will still fight to ignore them at any cost in favor of white men. despite what you might think from looking at tumblr, prominent & complex main characters of color exist–& in tons of popular shows!–and yet the fandoms are consistently, overwhelmingly saturated with white characters because FANDOMS ARE RACIST, and it’s frankly annoying as hell for you guys to try and blame that exclusively on the creators. own up to that shit.

Under Control | Drago, Jamil, and Camia

In which, about a month or so after Jamil and Camia meet, Jamil’s mother decides to send him away to the Sea Palace to study with his grandfather’s cousin, Drago Fortunado, but Drago is far more interested in Camia and her family’s magic than Jamil’s lack thereof.

I wanted to explore the time period of Jamil and Camia as teenagers a little more, around the end of the most traumatic years of their lives, but it ended up being in Drago’s POV instead, and… he is very mean. I am going to hug them both in my mind now.
