The line from that Éowyn fic where she thinks about Cel and the glass slipper and whipping Aragorn into shape before the world does has had me pondering something I can’t come to a conclusion on: what would Celebrían think of Aragorn - more specifically baby Aragorn and Elrond’s relationship?

I have the perfect answer for this and it is not from my braincell but instead the marvellous brain of @sallysavestheday and their remarkable fic about Celebrían and Aragorn that has me screaming crying throwing up every time I think about it, it is EVERYTHING i crave and more 🥺😇

Re: what Cel would think about baby Aragorn and Elrond specifically, I know full well that my girl would be throwing her glass slipper across the ocean every single time Gilraen says “no sweets before bed” and Elrond is out there giving Estel a whole ass cake to have in bed because he cried for 30 seconds. Girlboss would be trying to send “you can do it sis, don’t listen to my husband” good luck cards to Gilraen every time some pigeon from ME flies into Valinor ✨

Trying to physically drag myself back into the world of traditional art because I am indefinitely parted from my iPad, so have some Elwing WIP sketches, feat the extravagant seashell and feather shaped hairpins I’ve now headcanoned her to have.

First: pen, graphite, and white ink. mostly finished, giving “mother of twins eyes in the back of my head, stop pinching your brother elros i can see you”.

Second: graphite sketch and gouache, aka the medium from hell. giving “balrogballs will probably lose a few years off her life due to stress by the time she finishes it.”
