So I've been reading cards for five years now. I have noticed that there have been times when it's like my intuition is just blocked. The energy in my friends house is a bit heavy and oppressive. Do you think it is the house or that her marriage is pretty crappy? Not only is my intuition absent when I go there, my deck is always very vague as well. And this is a deck that is my favorite because it is so spot on. This ever happen to you? Btw I think your terrific. Sarah

Hi Sarah! It’s likely it’s the vibes in the home. The energy is low, lots of negative energy lurking around… I don’t want to go an say “yes their marriage is no good” but perhaps the negativity energy is from past arguments and past struggles they had and the house has just never been cleansed. Have you asked your friend if they would like to have their Home cleansed? Maybe if they’re okay with it, you all can do that and see if it lifts the feel there? I would also recommend planting some crystals in their home if they’re open to it. They should be the ones to choose which crystals and place it one in each room (I recommend - although there’s things like fenshui where you can place a crystal in a specific spot but that’s too technical for me lol). In my opinion, a Home should be cleansed AT LEAST once a month. If the home is constantly open to visitors and parties, then more cleansings will be appropriate. Your cards are in tune with YOUR energy so for you to notice your tool is out of sorts tells a lot about the energy of that Home. Trust your instincts and open up that dialogue with your friend. This can totally be fixed! ❤️

I grab her arm. “There you are, cindy,” I say, and then look at the man like he is bile. “Do you need something from my sister?” i ask, and i walk away with her. she cries later.

improved research skills 

self-reliance when it comes to getting information about your own beliefs

very long reading lists

examining your beliefs through different lenses (scary shit, no joke)

wanting to #decolonize shit

learning & caring about cultural appropriation

….learning to meditate or even… be mindful. (sorry I know that one’s distasteful to even mention!!)

all that shit can happen to you even if you just google it out of curiosity but don’t actually practice anything……and the very second you try 1 thing you found bc it resonates with you? You’re swiftly punished with:
