I swear to you if the actress who plays Nyla in The Rookie quits this show I wouldn’t be surprised at all. She is by far one of the most complex and interesting character on the show and they don’t capitalise on that at all. I’d rather see more of her than Bailey who clearly isn’t sticking around for the next season and will probably end up being one of Nolan’s pretty exes. Also why the fuck are the writers destroying Lucy’s character every new episode we get? Seriously I don’t even recognise her anymore. I know Jackson was the lighthearted spirit on the show and now he is gone suddenly that’s Lucy role now? After everything she went through it would make sense to utilise that but nah. Just jokes after jokes. Bets after bets. Childishness after childishness. I’m not saying there is anything wrong with having a little fun but it almost seems like every week there is something to occupy her that isn’t worth it. I know I can’t be the only one thinking this. I’m not even going to get my hopes up about chenford because the actor who plays Tim said we won’t get much this season so instead I’m just going to enjoy the buildups between them. I don’t know how this season is going to wrap up but I don’t like it so far. The serial killer storyline is what’s keeping hooked at the moment. Other than that it seems so far one of the worst season of the show right now 🤷🏾‍♀️

Why do I feel like Netflix is doing everything it can to bury Young Royals on its site? It’s nowhere to be found on trending page (at least in my country), up until this week it’s nowhere to be seen on top searches, nowhere to be seen in lgbtq shows recommendation or teen shows. I feel like they’ll use this as an excuse to cancel the show if it comes down to it. That’s stressing me the hell out. We all know how snakey Netflix are they love cancelling good shows in order to keep bs series/movies 👀
