Amy: -But yeah, your regulars at the bar miss you.

Sorya: [Laughs] Well, it won't be long until I'm back behind the bar.

Amy: Are you sure? Don't you still have-

Sorya: I'll be fine, Amy. Really. There's nothing to worry about.

Amy: It was good to see you again. I'm glad you're feeling better.

Sorya: It was good to see you too. Keep in touch, yeah?

Amy: I will! Bye, Sorya.

[Shufflng]

Sorya, internally: It's probably just Daevy.

Sorya: Isaac.

Isaac: I heard you got stabbed, wanted to see if it was true. Guess it is.

[Isaac lets out a sympathetic hiss]

Sorya, sarcastically: Glad to know everyone's talking about it.

Isaac: So what happened, then?

Sorya: Fight broke out, somebody pulled a knife. I tried to stop it...

Isaac: Did it work?

[Sorya lets out an exhasperated sigh.]

Sorya: Well, I got stabbed, didn't I?

Isaac: Yeah, I worked that out for myself. Well, at least you're gonna have a kickass scar now.

Sorya: It's not funny, Isaac.

Isaac: I never said it was.

Isaac pauses.

Isaac: Hurts like hell, right?

Sorya: [Sigh] Oh, of course you've been stabbed.

Isaac: Twice, actually!

Sorya: That's not something to flex...

Isaac: I mean... I lived to tell the story, didn't I?

Sorya: [Scoff] You are unbelievable.

Isaac: Still pretty low to bring a weapon to a fight. Even I don't do that. What was the fight about, anyway?

Sorya: Probably nothing serious. Just some drunk guy and a lad with an attitude problem.

Isaac: [Mutters] Mhm. Typical.

Sorya: Why'd you ask?

Isaac: Just curious, is all.

Isaac: I know something that will take your mind off it.

Sorya: Isaac, I swear to God. If you even try-

Isaac: Try what? I- I mean, that's not what I meant... Unless...?

Sorya: No. Just, no.

Isaac: Anyways, I meant drugs.

Sorya: Okay, first of all, I'm already on enough of those, and it looks like you are too...

Isaac: You're looking at me like I'm about to offer you some fucking hallucinogens or some shit. I'm talking about weed, dude.

Sorya: I'll pass. You can, though. I don't really care as long as you're not shooting up or doing the heavy shit in here.

Isaac: Oh, I did that a couple nights back, actually.

Sorya: Oh, great! Nice to know.

Isaac: [Snorts] Don't be so fucking boring.

Sorya: It's not being boring. It's called being a responsible adult.

Isaac: Whatever.

Sorya: Why do you it anyway? It can't be that fun, surely?

Isaac: Why do you care?

Sorya: Just wondering...

Isaac, quietly: Don't make this weird, Sorya.

Isaac: So can I smoke here, or what?

Sorya: Sure. Just do it on the balcony. I don't want this place stinking of weed.

Isaac: Mhm. Got it. I'll roll one up for you too.

Sorya: You don't need to do that.
