Tumblr Blues

I never intended to start a tumblr however I've always been a person intent on giving the people what they want and after a Kerouacian screed on the subject of accidental flirtation and my alleged lesbianism spurred on by 17 cups of dining hall coffee, a handful of irls and the most trusted among my oomfies demanded I start a tumblr if for no other reason than to archive these sorts of ramblings. And so here we are.

The things there are to know about me:

My name is Gus

I am Acadian (a Caraquet Cormier by way of Midcoast Maine) and damn proud of it, though I speak only the barest French

I'm a 14th generation Mainer and full of feelings about that fact

I read too much, drink too much coffee, sleep too little, and yap pathologically.

I began this Tumblr blog yes thanks to the urging of the council of oomfs but also to resolve an issue threatening my sanity that issue of course being that of slop. If we desire to defeat slop we must face it by creating art to combat it the best art we can muster and what I myself I Gus Cormier can muster at this moment is stream of consciousness musings on slop and Acadian identity and bisexuality nonbinariness and community college and what all Maine means and occasionally a more considered poem or an excerpt from my comic or various short stories.
