London’s biggest screening party for the Eurovision Song Contest finals has been canceled, the venue Rio Cinema and organizer Eurovision Party London have said. “Following discussion with the organizers of Eurovision Party London, we have collectively decided not to screen the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest this year while Israel remains in the competition,” the Rio Cinema said in a statement on X. “The Eurovision Party London has been a beloved partner of The Rio Cinema for many years, and we will continue to work with them in the future. We firmly believe that the Eurovision Song Contest has the power to bring people together across the world, and when its core values of inclusivity, equality and universality are upheld, it can be a genuine force for good. With its own slogan in mind, we hope that we can all be United By Music again soon. We will continue to organize fundraising events for the charities we support, including Doctors Without Borders and Medical Aid for Palestine.”

Reposting because apparently after all the hell everyone’s been raising over this, all SSSniperwolf’s getting as punishment is essentially just a little slap on the wrist and apparently YouTube thinks that Jack’s behavior (which was just raising everyone’s attention to what SSSniperwolf did to him and demanding change on the platform in regards to this) was also uncalled for. This just goes to show how much trouble YouTube’s going to protect Lia (SSSniperwolf’s real name, which I’m sure y’all know by now) while also making sure that Jack gets some of compensation to get the situation out of everyone’s collective minds so that Lia can move on and make YouTube even more money off her stolen content.

Hehe isn’t it funny that Youtube doesn’t enforce their own policies when it comes to doxxing anymore? No but seriously over the past few days it has been appalling how Youtube is essentially coddling SSSniperwolf when millions of people have been telling them that she committed a serious crime (Doxxing is illegal in California if doing so rises to the level of online harassment.) Which it was online harassment that SSSniperwolf put Jacksfilms thru. Yet Youtube continues to protect her and even have changed the rules to protect because she makes them a fuckton of many and to them, it’s better to protect one of their biggest moneymakers than an OG creator that has stuck by the platform and has been creating content since 2006. Also, may we all be reminded, it’s not just Jack who’s being put at risk here, it’s also his wife Erin who isn’t a content creator, she is just a regular person who works a normal job. Yet now, she has to worry about her safety and that of her husband. Overall, it’s a terrible situation and the fact that Youtube refuses to do anything about it says a lot about the platform and those who run it.
