My first attempt at a stick and poke using real needles, ink, and silicone skin. I went over the top twice but I don't like the thickness it came out at, though I do like the darkness, so next time I wanna use a smaller needle and go over twice. Live and learn lol. The pic I used for the stencil is below, I don’t know the source for it unfortunately, but if anyone does then please comment it, I love this piece and I hope I can get it or something similar done one day!

I put nail polish on my tattoo lol. It looks black but it’s actually dark red haha

3 days later:

It’s starting to peel and it’s so ITCHY. Don’t tattoos normally take longer to peel? I got this tattoo Friday and it’s only Sunday now but every time I (gently) wash it, little black flaky bits come off. It could be excess ink, but why is it itchy? I also moisturize the crap out of it to keep it from itching and peeling badly. No bleeding at all though, perhaps I’m just paranoid.

Sorry I haven’t written here in a while, but I figured I should tell you all that I got my first tattoo, one that I designed!!! It’s based off of the scene below, which is from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The quote and the hand movement really hit me emotionally, thus why this has remained my favorite scene from film for many years. And now I have a tattoo!!!

By the way, my tattoo was done in Dublin at Reinkarnated by a woman named Camilah. The staff there are extremely nice, the tattoo was well priced, and the parlor is clean and well decorated. Overall, I can’t imagine a better place to get my first tattoo!
