At an interesting point in my life, I've been working, I've been moving relentless, I've still been building. It's crazy seeing the growth and the progression for better and for worse in terms of my journey, but what good is an experience without the lessons. They say you're defined by your reaction to life in any given circumstances, well what would you want to define you. Someone else... or yourself, stream of consciousness went straight to that one Nip song, but what I'm trying to say ig is that life can life sometimes, but as long as your following your North Star and you just keep your head down and do the damn thing, you'll look up and see an empire. I've been working 15 hr days, driving 2 hrs to LA multiple times a week, going to late night studio sessions, networking, doing photoshoots, had my moms spaghetti moment at an open mic where I flopped in a freestyle (and also killed a freestyle for like 10 minutes straight right before outside), went through the ringer, grew and became way more abundant, etc. What I'm trying to say is, in hindsight I see it was fortune testing me, and the natural evolution I called early back in 2022. So for better or worse, own your journey, know that you have an alchemist inside you that serves as a gps system that's turning your hobby/passions into purpose/destiny when the time calls for it. I think this is the part where I explain the evolution, I'm always going to be Boogie/MBoogie, but I evolved into Mat Bakari. Bakari is Swahili for noble oath and Japanese for Only. I decided one day during my hunnid days, hunnid nights, that I promise to only give you all my authentic truth, my perspective, my heart and pieces of my soul in these tracks. (not in no kooky way but in a vulnerable/loving way) Boog was the kid chasing the dream earlier on, Mat Bakari is the butterfly that I evolved into on the journey to finding self. so with that, I promise to give you all Me... Flaws and All.

Stay focused on the bigger picture everyone, 2022 was a year of Major Growth but just focus on getting better. Stay Intentionally growing and do what you have to, in an effort to compound your consistent efforts. Trust that your grind isn't in vain. Know your worth and do everything in your power to help your dreams come into fruition.

Stay down in your lane hero, it's all going to pay off. What good is success without the journey? One could even say that the journey and struggles enhances the success and the wins. When you living this type of lifestyle, you've gotta be willing to sacrifice time, energy, and your old you in order to fulfill your higher purpose. Take it up with the most high and if you know it's your calling and this lane is your destiny focus and hone in on it. Lets' get right Heros.

4 months and some change into the year and I'm proud of the progress we're making towards mastery, it's all about 1% improvement on a daily basis until you reach exponential growth. But imagine 1% improvement an hour until you get 10,000 hours. Dedicated, Diligent, Self Analytical and critical growth until you attain mastery. Don't let up and don't go easy on yourself, but also remember to appreciate the improvement you've made since you started.

I've been battling fighting for these dreams and visions to come to fruition. I feel like I'm getting close to a breakthrough, it takes patience to get dreams popping though. Focus on your craft and doing the 1% growth over an extended period of time, and eventually you'll find yourself with a crazy amount of improvement. Maintain that marathon mindset, you'll achieve insurmountable things if you keep on keeping on. Just know that the higher powers that be are testing what you're made of, the more you feel like the odds are stacked against you, the closer you are to the breakthrough and the release that you've been waiting on. Watch what happens with The SafeHouse. It's gon be a movement and me and everyone around this movement is going to win too.

Battle

I've been battling lately. I've been fighting off the negative wolf trying to seep self-doubt, criticism, fear, etc. It's been a grind but I know that all of it will pay off. It had me in a feedback loop for a couple of days that knocked me off of who I truly am deep down. I am the greatest, I feel like I'm the next Muhammad Ali. I am the next Master P, Jay Z, Nipsey Hussle. I truly am a mogul in the making and it's evident by how I carry myself. It's not me, I'm just a vessel for the higher power working through me. I'm about to do something beautiful with my team in terms of turning this dream we have real and we're going to give back in so many ways. I needed to fight my battles because if I didn't the wins and the glory and the faith that's building up inside of me right now would never feel as good. I get chills writing this stuff out. Me and a couple of my friends are about to be the best producing crew out, I'm writing raps like I'm the next RZA/Method Man/Jay Z/ J Cole/ *insert any goat that comes to mind, and I'm not afraid to put it out there. I have faith that my homie that are down for the ride are going to go down as legends too if they're willing to work for it. And to be honest I know that all of this stuff is going to work and we're going to have businesses set up, we're going to set up systems and programs to help the needy and we're going to truly create a Wakanda back at the motherland. Believe it or don't, I don't care anymore, it's only a matter of time
