Theorized to have been released during the ending days of the Age of Innocence, the unnamed series of albums were the first and only musical body of work released by the members of this age. Initially, AOI had become known for their short films, interviews, and extravagant interactions with the public. Fans had assumed the constant presence of the members ( named 0-5 ) was leading up to something. Most agree it isn’t the album. 

Much of what is known about this series has been provided by attendees at the Garden Party, fans that still had their copies of the album, info from the limited documentation found on the series, and the debut showcase aired on mbc.

The PARK SERIES is the fanmade name given to three connecting mini albums that later went on to name the other two ages in 808 and establish the “maybe moon” of for romance’s fairy tale. Initially, the maybe moon had been called the moon but aoistic suggested the name change in order to further link the Age of Innocence with Age of Saturn and prevent confusion amongst newer fans. The series also officially established the palette of AOI’s world — Rosemary.

The palette colors are named warmth, dionysus, and pulp which “Muji” confirmed are the only moods ( re: colors ) that possibly exist in Rosemary. These moods are built by specific tones ( re: tracks ).

Prior to the release of the park series, for romance would begin to tease the park with digital billboards around South Korea. The billboards would gain traction overseas due to tourists vlogging and sharing photos to their social media accounts. Google’s AI was used to share the debut date for the era. A global broadcast would also tease the rollout ending with a short clip of what is assumed to be an intro for one of the albums narrated by aoi's five. After that came the invites and then the eventual Garden Party hosted at a sort of recreation of Wonderland.

Notably the dates of this teaser are all teasing the debut of the 8s, not the Garden Party or any album in the Park series.

Of the three albums, only two songs are known in its entirety: Saturn and Solitude. It's assumed that the intro five records is for the third album. This album is the only one with a tracklist which was initially given to rosing during The Garden Party:

The album inclusions were found from Ebay as well as discussions held with fans in the discord. No one was willing to share details of what they received as it is "their special something from aoi". It's near impossible to buy any of these things on Ebay considering the ridiculous prices and sellers deciding last minute they actually want to keep these mementos.

Three different albums created three different versions each intended to be viewed as a gift from a friend hence why the albums are referred to as gift boxes. The gift boxes were shaped in a yellow moon, a green saturn, and a pink star. Fans could pick to include a nightlight option, meaning their boxes would be made in a way that they could be reused as a hanging light in their rooms. Fans could also pick a usb drive oran actual CD to include in their album.

There were eighteen versions of the posters: each member received their own as well as a group photo. The posters would vary based on the albums, signifying they were taken at different locations in relation to the albums.

The letters were individualized per consumer as opposed to per album version. At first, it was assumed that the letters were all the same, but when fans compared the letters they were surprised at how different they were. All the letters were handwritten by the members.

The storybooks were the most interactive inclusion of the albums. On for romance's now unavailable website, fans could put together a picture story based on the images they could find on aoi’s section of the website. When the albums were received, there'd be a "sweet treat" —a colorful jar full of small items aoi had found on their adventures outside of Rosemary in our world. Based on what fans included in their storybook, the treats would reflect the story. The storybooks featured keychains based on the member's numbers and were stored in a six ring binder. The pages were interchangeable allowing fans to trade pages with other fans, create their own pages with the online generators fans were coding, or purchase more pages from for romance.

The sticker sheet had three versions: space, rabbit, and modern. However, the modern theme stickers have become lost with no one being sure what exactly a modern sheet would look like.

Lastly, pale pink is a special mask For Romance created specifically for fans. The butterfly shaped item wasn't available in every album, and no one could figure out how exactly to get one. It was theorized the company was test running the product, seeing if it was something fans even wanted.

Arguably the most talked about aspect of the Garden Party is it's location. To this day, fans that were invited to the event have refused to share where exactly they went as, "it's a special promise made with aoi."

In The Last Days of Romance, Plain Jane writes: "An animatronic white rabbit greets you at the golden gates, playful as he says: "it's almost time! it's almost time!" The clouds are fluffy and white, shaped like dogs and cats and hearts all dancing against a sky so blue I almost thought it was fake. There are giant roses we painted bright pink and grass card men that stand guard in front of the centerpiece: the stage — a crystal carousel." This led many to believe they had been invited to some version of Rosemary.

The conclusion would incite jealous back and forths online with many lamenting on how unfair it was only few fans were allowed to attend the event. Plus the youtube link for the event had expired, meaning no one could view the event again.

Sometime later MBC announced it acquired full rights to the live performance of the debut showcase. They aired the event in three parts — the performances, the interviews, and the interactions with fans. The interview portion was the most watched, thanks to one little comment from two.

I want to thank everyone for being so kind to us, but I'm afraid to say we're not going to meet again after this. Oh, come on. Don't be so sad! How about — how about we meet you where we once were? I'll let you decide on how to find me, but you have to promise you'll be on time. ( teasing ) You were a little late you know, but then again — time is different for us. When we meet again, I'll be too early.

After the airing, Rosing would tweet: "This is different from what I remember?"

One more version of the park series was released for free after dog summit aired in 2015—the people's edition. Though this version included only the photocards and the CDs, a few fans had mentioned receiving extras. One, in particular, received a stuffed brown bunny with a note saying: please take care of him until we can meet.

The only evidence of this version existing is an allkpop article in which fans criticize AOI for stealing the only known song on the album from girlmeet.

all the info about 808 currently led me to a deep curiosity about their predecessor, age of innocence. i was wondering if you have any npc file(if that's what it's called) about them? which i/we could read about and dive deep into?

1͟1͟:͟4͟6͟A͟M͟     ⑉     ⤿     UYAI SAYS.    ⟢ HIIIIIIIIII <3 there's no npc file and there won't be for like a few reasons </3 im hellbent on writing everything about this group from the perspective of the people that engage with 808 ( the fandom mostly but any other inverse character is fair game ) so whatever they know you'll known but all the info fans have about aoi is extremely limited since towards the end of that age, everything got completely erased. fans who were there for these things have omitted or even rewritten certain details whether it be at aoi's/for romance's request or to push their own narrative idea about 808 ( ex. fans think plain jane hasn't told them all she could about the garden party and what aoi told her and even then it took like years for her to pen death of romance and reveal the "secret" )

the only other important things about aoi i didnt mention was its members but the star and some ( who are 2 of the six / seven ) don't reference aoi in any capacity nor do they ever acknowledge their aoi selves. and rosemary—the other world / 808's theorized real home—which was established through aoi's film series, but it wasn't as fleshed out as it gets in saturn.

other than what's present in the intro ( plus the one or two media inspired posts i have planned as well as their only album i still have to edit and repost 😹 ) there's nothing left to deep dive into because there really is nothing concrete of aoi.
