The sound of boots clacking against the marble flooring rang in the air, breaking the silence of the moonlight as Wang Yi walked through the corridors and halls of the castle. She stalked, treading to wherever her feet would take her as she coursed through each portion of the building. Perhaps this stroll had already sufficed, for she was about to make her next journey one to one of the open gardens with many pots of flowers to adore under the luminous glow of the half crescent moon that night.

        She was about to go for drinking, of course.

        Her body coursed with a small shock as the soft voice of a nearby woman echoed through the room she was passing by. Wang Yi glanced at her head-to-toe, evaluating her without words. "Indeed," she answered simply, regarding her anything but a foe due to her soft-spoken manner, but perhaps she was wrong, Wang Yi knew better than to evaluate someone based on their appearance. 

        "I should know better than to ask before introducing myself, but who are you, my lady? I do not remember coming across you before this. Furthermore, that crossbow seems rather suspicious, if you don't mind me saying. My name is Wang Yi, I am an officer of Wei," the warrior lady said, giving a courteous bow after uttering her final sentence.

        She could not help but chuckle at the thought of stepping down. Had he thought that the strife between them initiated solely by her would be relinquished so simply with merely a few words? Obviously not. Years and years have gone by with her suffering in silence, mentally torturing herself in solitude over the desperation of exacting revenge over the man that now stood before her. If it were as simple as that, she would have long given up on her thirst and path designated ultimately for vengeance of him for the slaughter of her entire family line. She clapped her hands together and gave an applause to his 'logic'. "How intelligent of you to suggest something like that," she said with obvious sarcasm lingering in her venomous tone.

        Her trishulas already in her hand, she bent down slightly, executing her battle stance and lowering her centre of gravity to increase her stability. It was something she needed, since her little prominent trump card was her speed. Her trishulas in their ready stance in front of her, she looked to him with scorn and malice. 

        "Spear of justice? Surely you jest. You make me feel like applauding you once again, Ma Chao."

“Ma Chao,” the warrior lady growled as she gritted her teeth. What on earth was this man, this man whom she scorned with malice and hatred, doing here? Had the heavens aligned and see to it that they claw each other apart outside of the battlefield? Not that she was about to start complaining. “If we are to be in each other's presence, it does not have to end happily. Would you like to die?”

               ”Wang Yi.”

     A name he knows well. While the owner of said title is no more than a stranger to the man, her intent is clear to him. The offense against her ways years ago, the monster lady having lost a husband in battle against the splendid warrior. The memories of the time have scattered, slowly dissolving into the mess of his life as time went on.

     For her, however, that seemed to be the only image drawn onto her canvas of a mind.

     At her question, he draws his spear almost mechanically, knowing what was to come. She was not here for words, even one such as him knew that.

               ”This doesn’t have to end this way.                 Stand down.”

     His stance shifts, going from a neutral stature into a war stance, ready to slice this girl down should she charge.

               ”Or prepare to face the spear of justice!”

      Her eyes glared with malice and scorn as she laid her gaze on the man before her -- Ma Dai. Though the hatred for him wasn't as deep as that harboured toward his cousin, Ma Chao, there was still a conflagration of angry emotions burning within her very being. "Ma Dai," she greeted simply, gritting her teeth as she narrowed her eyes on the male and gave a curt bow as an acknowledgement. She wasn't about to take much respectful measures towards this man, she didn't even want to converse with him.

       "I doubt that it would prove to be an obstacle. Stand aside or you will suffer an identical fate to your dear young master." She smiled a devious smile as her response to that of Ma Dai's.  She wasn't afraid to take drastic measures at this point, so much had already been done before this. There was no turning back from the progress she had already made during the years ; she wasn't about to back out now. "If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you get. I'll see you in hell." She tightened the grip on her trishulas and prepared herself to pounce on the man. "No hard feelings after this, right? The feelings that have been bottled up are about to be released very soon."
