“Verily when someone dies, Allah sends an angel to the most grieved member of his family, who strokes his heart and makes him forget the agony of grief, and if it were not for this, the world would never again thrive.”
— Imam al-Sadiq (a.s.), al-Kafi, v. 3, p. 227, no. 1

The sleep of a fast observer is regarded as worship, his silence is considered as praise, his deeds are accepted, and his supplications are granted.

“It is inevitable that we pass through difficult times because the path of Ahl al-Bayt is a difficult one. A man once came to see the Prophet (s.a.w.) and said to him, “O Messenger of Allah, I love you.” He replied, “Then expect many tribulations. ” The man said, “I love your cousin Ali.” He replied, “Then expect many enemies.” The man said, “I love al-Hasan and al-Husayn. ” He replied, “Then get ready for poverty and much affliction.””

When Hussain (as) calls out; ‘Hal min nasir yansuruni’ (is there anyone to assist me?) Did he not know that there would be no one to assist him?  (Verily) this is a question of the (coming) history of tomorrow, and a question of the future, directed at all of us.

The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Lying is not right, whether it be serious or in jest, nor is it right for a man to make a promise to his child and not fulfil it. Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Heaven.’[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 8217]

The Prophet (SAWA) said, ‘Woe unto he who speaks and lies in order to get people to laugh. Woe to him! Woe to him!’[Kanz al-`Ummal, no. 8215]
