"When you can lick your forehead, you can get away with some pretty heinous shitfuckery to be fair. I've asked weirder questions to scarier people."
"I checked in this book I stole and I'm pretty sure that's identity theft and fraud, so still a crime at least! But you gotta think bigger. Grander. You gotta steal The Declaration of Independence."

"I think it's only a war crime if they're sentient and sapient. Maybe. We should probably ask Zelda, actually, just in case."

"That's not tax evasion, that's a medical emergency. The first step to tax evasion is having fun and being yourself, which means you gotta be conscious I'm fairly sure."

Midna slides out of the shadow just a little- her cloak hiding her from the dim daylight.
"Because the divine cycle is not stubbornness- it is panic."
A wicked, chilly laugh.
"This world was gifted to the Gilded Lady, remember. Under an oath to keep it safe, and balanced. The divine cycle is Hylia's desperate panic to correct the course of things before the three golden ones turn their eyes back on her, I'd imagine."
Midna tongues a tooth, ruminating.
"Love is holy, and terror is divine. My tutor used to tell me that."
A snort.
"No you didn't; stubbornness is something. Extremely mortal, and fleeting. All you got from Her Holy Stepmotherness is a penchant for mystic abilities and maybe the golden tint to your hair."
And then the hand holding candies retracts, and there is the sound of crunching.

There's a huff before a hand reaches out from a cornershadow. It offers honeycandy stolen from a hero.
"...That is a sin he'll have to come to terms with in his own eternity, then. His blinders aren't your thorny crown- many would be and ARE proud of you. And possibly worried- you DID inherit the ancestral stubborn streak."
"I wonder, if my parents could see me now, would they be proud of me?"

"Not sure about your parents but- your ancestor would be; and her parents would be. And my Hero would be."

[Pointing and laughing, oh she is pointing and laughing so hard.]

[She crunches candy, odd anglerfish teeth grinding the candy into sugary dust.]
"I mean, kinda? I guess. It's more like.... The hand things? That's kinda like a really hungry carnivorous fish. There's a whole brain, sorta- it's just a suuuuuuper low grade one."
[Another crunch.]
"And mine are rocks running on people thoughts."
[She leans carefully out of the shadow; dodging light and keeping her hood up and covering her.]
"In their defense, they probably only know really basic commands like kill, tear, rip, destroy, hunt. So. Y'know. Kinda pathetic though, I taught MY weird servant creatures much more complicated commands."

"It's cause you're squishiest there, hero. They're trying to tear into it."

"I can possibly be persuaded to stop calling them that, yes."
She's reaching out of the shadow and making a grabby hand gesture.
"I should check on the koroks in the forest. I worry about them."
