backstory: Her mother, Janneth had only 20 years when she died, she was going to her work when something happened between this and she got murdered by some death eaters because they found out she was a mudblood and they wanted to show what they’re really capable of. aphrodite was just a baby when it happened, but she never really forget about it, so maybe that’s one of the reasons that sometimes, even if she doesn’t wants to, she doesn’t have the control of her powers. Aphrodite met Harry and his friends in the second year of school when she starts training with him to quidditch as a chaser — “she is the new chaser!..you can sit with us to talk.” “um.. okay. Thanks, potter.” — and after that she starts being part of his ‘trio’ and of course, the drama of both past makes their relationship a lot complicated, but who said that love is easy especially when both have their past and future decisions to made?

He glanced up at the tall, empty building, shuddering a bit.

“Fuck,” he cursed under his breath.

Four sighed and took the elevator to the last floor, then he climbed the stairs to the rooftop.

He felt his body shake as the cold wind hit his face, he leaned against the wall for a moment, taking deep breaths as he noticed the dark haired girl sitting on the edge, a bottle of alcohol next to her.

He gathered all the strength he had for his voice not to sound shaky, “hey, Zeke said I would find you here.”

Kora turned her head and took a long look at him as her drunken mind tried to figure out who he was.

“Oh, hey, Four, want a drink?”

“Uh- no, thanks, I came here to get you to stop drinking your problems away, actually,” he joked. Everything was going to be okay as long as he stayed away from the edge, he thought.

“Well, then I’ll have to kindly ask you to fuck off”

“Come on, Kora, you’ll get yourself killed.”

“Cool,” she muttered, taking another sip of her drink.

“You’re acting like a child.”

She got up and faced him, “Why can’t you just leave me alone?”

“I would leave you alone if you were in a place where you can’t fall to your death!”

She was looking up at the sky, her mind too confused to understand anything he had said.

“I didn’t listen to a thing you just said but I’m pretty sure you called me a little shit!”

“No, I didn’t! That actually makes no sense!”

Kora stared at Four, walking towards him, “well, if you didn’t call me a little shit I will call myself a little shit! I AM A LITTLE SHIT!” She shouted as she threw the bottle of alcohol she was holding on the floor, tears streaming down her cheeks.

“Kora, calm down!”

“Don’t tell me to calm down! My boyfriend is dead! Why? Because I convinced him to leave this fucking city because I didn’t want to go alone! I am a selfish little shit!” She kept yelling, kicking the broken pieces of glass on the floor.

He grabbed her shoulders and made her look at him, “you are not a little shit, Kora! Uriah’s death is not on you!”

“You’re right, it’s on you!”

She punched him on the chest with all the strength her drunken body could gather, which wasn’t much. He let her punch him until she collapsed onto his chest, sobbing as his arms wrapped around her.

“Let’s go home,” he whispered softly as he ran his hand through her messy hair.

He helped her all the way to his apartment as she kept stumbling over things.

“Mind if I sleep over tonight?” She mumbled, sitting on his bed.

Four chuckles, “I didn’t think you would go home, anyway.”

“And that’s why you’re my best friend,” she smiled softly as she laid down.

“Why were you on that rooftop anyway?” He asked, sitting on the bed.

“Uriah and I liked going there, we used to stare at the horizon and wonder if there was something beyond the wall.”

“I’m sorry about- well, everything, I know Uriah’s death is on me.”

“I know you’re sorry, Tobias, I know you didn’t mean for that to happen, but it still happened.”

“Will you ever forgive me?”

“I don’t know.”

Four sighed and laid down next to her.

“I’m tired, can we talk about this tomorrow?” She asks, looking at him.

“Of course, you need to rest,” he gave her a small smile as she turned to the other side.

It didn’t take long for Kora to fall asleep, but he stayed awake for hours until he finally managed to sleep, a feeling of guilt and compassion in his chest.

Avalon Lily Potter: backstory

some parts of this may not be accurate to the books.

everything that happened in the books happened in this too unless stated otherwise.

please don’t criticize my character or her backstory, i am very very very fond of her and as i stated before some things might not be accurate to what’s canon.

early life - on october 31, 1981, her parents were killed by voldemort, leaving her and her twin brother to be raised by their aunt and uncle until they were 11, when hagrid took them to hogwarts.

years at hogwarts:

first year - sorted on slytherin, avalon gets separated from harry, spending the next few weeks alone until she gets paired with a slytherin boy, Nott, in potions class, they quickly become friends afterwards.

by the end of the year she fights voldemort with her brother, with help from ron and hermione.

second year - after being warned by Dobby not to come back to hogwarts, the weasleys her and harry. they spend the rest of their summer at the burrow, where avalon starts to hang out with ginny. as their school year begins the heir of slytherin attacks, causing more panic and fear each time. when harry speaks parseltongue at the duelling club the students start to suspect they are the ones attacking people. avalon and nott grow closer as he is one of the only people who never suspected her. ginny used to hang out with them a lot until she started acting weirdly and drifted apart from them. by the end of the year ginny is taken to the chamber, ron, harry and avalon figure out where the entrance is and go after her. in the chamber, they find tom riddle’s memory and an almost dead ginny. harry fights the basilisk while avalon stays behind, trying to help ginny. riddle is intrigued by her and tells avalon she’s just like him and says she will realize that sooner or later. she keeps that to herself for the rest of the year, but soon it was pushed to the back of her head by the school’s festivities. her and harry go back to the dursley’s for summer break.

third year - after accidentally using magic on vernon’s sister, harry and avalon run away from the dursley’s house. in the streets, alone, with no muggle money and nowhere to go they start to panic until the knight bus picks them up and takes them to the leaky cauldron where they meet the minister, who is weirdly worried about them. they get a room at diagon alley and stay there for the rest of the summer, until the weasleys and hermione get there. hermione and avalon get a ginger and a black cat, crookshanks and irwin, ron hates them both since they’re always running after scabbers. the night before taking the hogwarts express, harry and avalon overhear mr. and mrs. weasley saying the criminal who just escaped askaban is after them. the next day, in the train, they sit in a cabin with ron, hermione, nott (who had just joined them on the platform) and a sleeping teacher called remus lupin. harry and avalon tell them what they heard which leaves their friends worried. by the time they’re close to hogwarts the train gets attacked by dementors, harry is attacked and faints, lupin helps him. at the slytherin common room avalon is angry at herself for not doing anything to help her brother, nott tells her it isn’t her fault she froze and gets her to go to sleep. months later lupin teaches them how to cast a patronus, avalon struggles a lot more than harry until she manages to cast a big dragon patronus. harry is frustrated he still can’t cast a patronus like hers. trelawney keeps predicting their death every class. on a trip to hogsmeade, before christmas, avalon and harry sneak to the village with the marauder’s map, they find out sirius is their godfather and that he betrayed their parents, they go back to the school, both seem weirder quiet. the next day harry goes to hagrid’s hut while nott tries to cheer avalon up. by the end of the school year sirius gets them into the shrieking shack and reveals the truth. when they go back in time harry casts a stag patronus for the first time to save sirius, his sister and himself from the dementors and they free sirius and buckbeak.

fourth year - everything happens as in the book. harry gets chosen for the triwizard tournament, avalon gets worried and tries to find out who put his name in the goblet. both of them start having weird dreams. avalon is confused by her feelings towards nott, but denies it. at the end of the year harry sees voldemort come back, he says his plan was to kill him first and then go after his sister. everyone goes back home for summer in fear.

fifth year - when harry gets attacked by a dementor, the order of the phoenix comes to get him and avalon at the dursley’s. back at the school no one believes voldemort is back but a few people. harry and avalon create the dumbledore’s army, hidden from umbridge. their dreams start to get worse. avalon realizes she has feelings for nott and tells him, they start dating shortly after, while ginny gets mad for being the third wheel since she always hangs out with them. by the end of the year they fight death eaters at the department of mysteries. after bellatrix kills sirius, avalon runs after her. voldemort finds her and tells her she’s like him, again, he gets inside her head and threatens harry’s and her friends’ lives, saying he will kill them if she doesn’t join him, she ends up giving in. when she goes back to hogwarts she agrees with dumbledore on spying on voldemort for the order. she doesn’t tell anyone but the order about it, not even harry or nott.

sixth year - while avalon secretly works for voldemort, spying for the order, harry helps dumbledore find out more about tom riddle’s past. harry suspects draco is a death eater. dumbledore helps avalon become an animagus (a wolf) to help her get in and out of hogwarts. avalon doesn’t tell harry or nott about anything, and neither of them suspect anything. her and nott are dating while harry has a crush on ginny. at the end of the year she tells harry what’s going on and asks him not to tell anyone, he gets mad at her for risking her life but understands. she breaks up with nott and leaves the school after dumbledore’s death.

seventh year - harry, ron and hermione set off to find voldemort’s horcruxes. avalon runs away from the death eaters and finds the trio in the woods, she explains everything about her not being a real death eater and how she ran away by turning into an animagus. ron leaves for a while, when he comes back they destroy the locket. they all get captured and taken to the malfoy manor, hermione is tortured for being a muggle born while avalon gets tortured for being a traitor. dobby saves them and they take the unconscious girls to bill and fleur’s house. later on, at hogwarts they go find ravenclaw’s diadem. death eaters get in the castle and chaos takes over. harry and avalon find out about him being a horcrux. harry goes to the forest, hidden from his sister, and there he “dies”. when voldemort comes back to the castle, harry and avalon fight with him together which leads to voldemort’s downfall.

later life - three years after the war, avalon works as an auror at the ministry with harry, nott and ron. nott hasn’t talked to her at all ever since she broke up with him, not knowing the reasons behind everything she did. when the remaining death eaters start to rise again, nott and avalon are forced to work together to help the others to beat them. while looking for them nott and avalon rebound and get together once again, after she told him why she did what she did. a year later they get married and within another year they have twins, crystal and derek. two years later they have another baby girl called raven. nott starts working at the department of magical law enforcement and avalon stays working as an auror.
