in a lot of ways the pair were distinct opposites, but that’s one of the many reasons why matilde was convinced they worked so well together. she bought out his playfulness, and he gave her a belief in herself so beyond what she’d once just faked. she could question why none of her former relationships had been successful, but she was well aware of the real reason why. she could blame it on fabian, on his authority and his protectiveness over her – but that wouldn’t be fair. there was a strong possibility that she sabotaged her own relationships. she didn’t like sharing her attention with anyone else, she didn’t like being away from fabian. he was her best friend, but he was much more than that too. so much so, it almost frightened her. she was a risktaker in every sense, but she couldn’t risk this – she didn’t want to stop seeing that smile on his face, the smile that seemed so rare, making her feel so lucky to get to witness it. she didn’t want to lose the fun their relationship provided her with. she can’t stop the giggles as he carries on teasing her with his fingertips. his touch driving her insane, in more ways than he’s sure he realises. it’s best to focus on the most evident one, the fact she’s so unbelievably ticklish, the fact he’s all too aware of that fact. how she can feel so grounded, yet like she’s floating on air at the same exact time is completely beyond her, but it’s just the power that fabian holds. “is that so?” brows cock over his words, breath hitching as he lifts her shirt up slightly. swallowing thickly, she’s still unable to stop her wiggling beneath him, stop the laughter from escaping her plump lips. “you know far too much,” she whines out, through her laughter. hearing his own laughter warms her soul and she feels so fortunate to be the one who gets his attention, who gets to feel him pressed against her frame, no matter how platonic she’s convinced he views it. as he halts, remains in position, she can’t help the way her chest visibly rises and falls. without thinking, her digits comb through his blond tendrils, her gaze focusing on his own. he was so beautiful, though she’s sure that isn’t a fact lost on anyone who was fortunate enough to grace his presence, she can’t help but be stunned by the sight of his pretty face so close to her frame, his lips pressed against her skin. her free hand strokes across his cheek, spreading her legs a little better, making all the more space for him. “…you sure you know every one of my spots, ‘bee?” she questions breathlessly, innocently enough – but it’s far too easy to detect there’s far more to it than that. 

often  did  he  wonder    —    how  did  her  skin  taste  ,  how  would  her  lips  make  him  feel  or  how  would  it  feel  to  be  even  closer to  her  .  it  wasn't the  first  time  matilde  fell  asleep  in  his  lap  ,  while  his  slender   fingers  would  run  through  her  luscious  hair  .  he'd  admit  ,  he  spent  time  looking at  her  sleeping peacefully  in  his  lap  .  he  speculated she  wasn't  as  calm  as  she  was  then  ,  not  when  she  was  sleeping  in  someone  elses  lap    (    if  she  even  got  a  chance to  ,  next  to  the  possessive  guy  like  fabian   )    or  when  her  small  frame  would  be  wrapped  around  the  arms  of  someone else  .  some  other  man  .  it  was  hard  for  him  to  act  on  his  feelings  ,  the  thought of  losing  her  was  his  biggest  fear  .  not  because  he'd  be  left  alone  ,  but  because   he'd  be  left  alone  without  her  .  even  though  ,  small  of  his  heart  believed  she  wouldn't  just  stop  being  his  friend if  he  confessed ,  the  risk  was  too  high  .  even  now  ,  he  doesn't  like  the  idea  of  being  this  close  to  her  ,  but  somehow  he  can't help himself  .  as  if  his  body  won't  move  away  from  her  ,  won't  stop  with  his  hidden intentions  .  chuckle leaves  his  lips  before  she  speaks  .  even  though he's  taken  back  by  her  question  ,  he  tries  to  consider it  an  innocent way  of  teasing him  .  because after  all  ,  he  was  a  strong man  ,  on  top  of  her  ,  tickling  her  sides    &   triggering  all  the  soft  spots  he  could  find  .  he  knows  that  a  much  softer spot  is  only  a  few  inches  away  from  his  chin  ,  a  spot  that  would  please  her  the  most  .  but  he's  uncertain ,  he  doesn't know  if  he  should  continue .  he'll  decide to  keep  on  teasing  her  .  '        —    yeah  ?  well  i  could  try    &    learn all  your  spots  .  so  you  know   —    once  you're   under  me  like  this  again  ,  i'll  know  how  to  get  my  way  with  you  .        ' he  continues  to  try    &   keep  his  tone  innocent  .  curious  hands  move  down  her  sides  to  her  hips  which  were  covered by  the  the  hoodie  she  borrowed  .  on  her  body  ,  it  looked like  a  dress  ,  even  though  it  fit  him  perfectly  .  sensing  that  she  moved  her  legs  apart  ,  he  follows her  lead  .  he  pushes her  knees  up  so  he  could  have  enough  space  between  her  ,  eyes  glancing  up  at  her  from  time  to time to  assure  she's  okay  with  all  of  this  .  '        tell me  to  stop  if  it's  too  much  ,  i  mean    —    if  it's  too  ticklish for  you  .       '  he  clears his  throat  with  a  nod  before  he  dives  in  ,  planting  raspberries  along  the  soft  skin  of  her  inner  thigh  .  they  soon  turned into  soft  kisses   &    he  knew  that  it  was  too  late  to  stop  himself .  feeling  of  her  soft  fingers  running  through  his  strands didn't  help  ,  only  made  him  feel  more  relaxed in  this  position .
