Station to Station
206 posts
A handful of fading memories, the remains of a research project, and a garbled tape recording are all Dr. Miranda Quan has to her name after her research partner goes missing on the eve of a 10-week ocean expedition. Now, she must try to find closure in the midst of a rapidly-unraveling conspiracy while surrounded by a handful of unlikely allies, several likely threats, and the icy waters of the North Pacific. Station to Station is a scifi-horror audio drama about loss, memory, morality, and what gets left behind. LISTEN HERE Season One Transcripts Patreon A member of the Procyon Podcast Network.

Our network’s newest show is out Thursday. It’s written by one half of your S2S creative team and perhaps featuring a voice or two you may recognize from this show later in the season....

Me and AU, launches Thursday, June 25!
It’s time! Procyon Podcasts’ new audio drama about love, fandom, growing up and TV shows of questionable quality is out this week.
When Kate "ACunningPlan" Cunningham sparks up an online friendship with a fellow fanfiction writer it seems like the perfect distraction from a summer stuck in her hometown, not to mention the coming terrors of her final year of university and the Real Adult Future beyond. (Seriously, please don’t mention them.) After all, Hella--Enchanted is funny, smart and writes canon-divergent werewolf fic like no one else. She’s everything a fangirl could ask for.
But... what if she’s everything Kate could ask for, too?
Listen to our trailer and find our feed on your favourite podcatcher here.

Rocket Booster is Back!
Tumblr media
Since launching our network we’ve been lucky enough to get advice, help and friendship from a ton of people across the audio fiction community. The Rocket Booster Program is our way of passing along some of that experience and enthusiasm to new creators.
This spring we offered consultations to seven creators working new audio productions, and now we’re ready to do it again!
If you’re a creator of audio fiction working on your first project, Procyon’s founding creators (the people behind @iriscasefiles, @s2s-podcast, @underpressurepodcast and the upcoming @meandaupod) want to you offer a free script and story consultation. It’s a chance to talk about your scripts, your plot ideas and pick our brains about the experience of taking your project from page to pod.
The program is open to writers who will be 16 and older this year. To learn more and apply follow this link. (The link to the application form is at the bottom of our rules page. Please read those first.)

Production Update
Hey everyone, this is Alex here.
We’re sorry to say that the second half of season 2 of Station to Station will unfortunately be delayed a while longer due to some personal issues.
As you might already be aware, my current place of residence, Hong Kong, is being shaken by political unrest, often ending in confrontations in neighbourhoods I work and a live in.
Due to this, and work-related timing issues, I haven’t had the mental energy to finish production as of now — and therefore I’d like to ask for a little more time to complete the second season.
We hope to be back on air in late October/early November. Thanks for your understanding. We'll let you know once we have a new return date settled.

CASTING CALL FOR PROCYON PODCASTS’ NEWEST SHOW
Have you ever wanted to play a character on a SyFy-style genre TV show who’s been burdened with a family curse?
Have you ever way-over-identified with that kind of character on a SyFy-style genre TV show?
Do you like werewolves? Fanfiction? What about fanfiction about werewolves?
Then this may be the podcast casting call for you!
The Basics:
We’ve taken you to space, the bottom of the ocean and inside top-secret research projects. Now, @procyon-podcast-network is going to…  Canada. Me & AU is a romantic fiction podcast exploring love and fandom.
When Kate sparks up an online friendship with a fellow fanfiction writer it seems like the perfect distraction from a summer stuck in her hometown, not to mention the coming terrors of her final year of university and the Real Adult Future beyond. (Seriously, please don’t mention them.) After all, Hella–Enchanted is funny, smart and writes canon-divergent werewolf fic like no one else. She’s everything a fangirl could ask for.
But… what if she’s everything Kate could ask for, too?
This is a limited-series podcast (~20 episodes) with roles for LGBT+ women, men and nonbinary people.
Roles are available for Kate and the other folks in her real life circle and for the cast ofSelkirk, Canada’s hottest TV show about paranormal park rangers that doesn’t exist.
All roles are paid $15 CDN per hour. Gear and experience are not requirements to audition for this show. Actors must be 18 years or older to audition.
Auditions close at midnight, Pacific Time, on September 6, 2019.
For the full list of roles and how to audition go here.
I’ll try to answer questions quickly, but you may get faster turnaround on Twitter, which is also MeandAUpod.

Here’s a funny thing about memory: it’s unreliable. I know this, more than I know anything. We tell ourselves stories to keep ourselves alive, and in the telling of those stories we shape our understanding of ourselves — making us braver, better, kinder; or putting ourselves at fault for things that were never in our control. Who am I to know how you have burnished your life; only that I have burnished mine in ways that even I’ve forgotten.
