I have been really missing the golden days of Geek & Sundry recently.
That whole era was just content for the love of the content instead of content for the notoriety and money.

Just discovered one of my cousins believes Covid was a government mind control experiment, we never landed on the moon, and princess Diana was assassinated by the Royals….
So obviously I asked her about her thoughts on ancient aliens, lizard people, and 911….
I have now been asked to leave….

A thing I've gotten from talking to a bunch of people in their mid-to-late 20s is that at some point around that age, if not constantly, you will probably (not certainly, but probably) feel like:
You haven't achieved as much as you were "supposed to" or "could've" by now.
Stuff you're "supposed to be good at", maybe even used to be good at, feels like it's more difficult than it should be. Didn't you used to be more capable? How much have you forgotten?
Everyone else around you seems to... Not have their shit together persay, but more than you do. They've got the hang of something you don't.
As feeling like this seems to be true no matter how much they've "achieved", and given that I admire all these people, I can only assume it's normal for the age. You, presumably mid-to-late 20 something person, are not uniquely terrible, unaccomplished, falling behind, etc. It's not easy! You've made just as much progress as anyone else, it just looks different to everyone else. Just as everyone else's looks different to eachother. You are not the exception to this.

I put together these podcast recommendations based on books a while ago, enjoy (they also work the other way around, I highly recommend these books, I made it my life's mission to make people read radio silence, it's SUCH a great book and it got me into Welcome to Night Vale and podcasts in general. Thank you Alice Oseman)

i'm never good at summarizing things but I tried my best lol

hold on a fucking second. delaware is a state?? i thought it was a river? or is the river more important than the state? why don't i know this? (i should mention i don't like in america, i'm just confused)
there is delaware (state) and delaware (river)
both are equally strange
the state is a tiny little cryptid thing
the rive is a monster that spans new york, pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware. also washington crossed it once and that was like kinda a big deal i guess. like crossing the rubicon in rome.
the state tries to me more important with its “im the first state!!!” bs (seriously its even on the fucking license plates) but we all know. its the river.

For horror fans and audio drama fans alike - last year, I had the privilege of writing the first season of the upcoming podcast Liars and Leeches alongside the incomparable Marisa Ewing. The series is set to debut in March, and I'm so excited for you all to hear it!
The plot summary is as follows:
Grief. Anxiety. Terror. Tonya Wright felt it all after the tragic murders of her sister and brother-in-law in a random act of gun violence. Struggling to travel outside of her home, she now lives constantly on edge about perceived threats that seem to surround her.
Retreating to the house her sister and brother-in-law once shared to process her grief, Tonya soon discovers that someone — or something — has followed her there. With the help of her best friend Natalie, and others she meets along the way, can Tonya overcome her fears before they completely consume her?
The first original audio drama from Hemlock Creek Productions, “Liars and Leeches” delves deep into the complicated horrors of grief, trauma, resilience, and steadfast human determination to uncover the truth.
For more information, please visit the Hemlock Creek Productions website, and stay tuned here or to the series' Twitter for more updates as we get closer to the release!
