my 'main' pokeirl blog is sol flare (@/purriors). they're a horrible regional professor, a silly little guy, etc.

they share a universe with venus flytrap, a musician who loves her volcarona and is also sol's partner (@/volcarona-enthusiast-official), a group of streamers working at the same lab (@/teamdusk-gamers), and a blog that i will not go into detail on for spoiler reasons (@/or-to-anywhere-alone). they also do share a universe and region with @/phantump-friend but that blog takes place in the future after all of my other blogs.

they also share a universe with some blogs that aren't mine but are associated!! those blogs are @/ask--lysandre, @/lightsoflumiose, @/alen-and-marjorie, and @/janvier-pasteur.

there's been no truly universe hopping incidents (ultra wormhole, fallers, etc) yet. union circle does work, but it's mostly been in-universe (e.g. to travel between regions). there have been uc situations involving characters from other universes, but those have all been characters from other universes coming in. it's not clear whether characters from this universe can uc out or not because no one's done so yet.

this universe is technically open, but there are fanregions and lore surrounding said fanregions that you need to be aware of. also there are some games/canon situations (e.g. pokemon xy) that haven't happened yet, are happening, or happened in a canon-divergent way.

heyyyyy pkmn irl community. request. i wanna map out a bunch of universes for one of my characters. can i get like.

Hello, Rotomblr! I'm Professor Flytrap, or any nicknames you can come up with. I'm pretty sure my first name's out there. If you find out what it is you can call me by it. She/her or he/him pronouns, she/her preferred but honestly I'm fine with either.

I work in the [redacted] region, and mainly study plant-based pokemon and carnivorous plants. Not all plant-based pokemon are grass type. Keep this in mind.

Also, say hi to my trevenant! Her name is Sunshine, after the sunshine tree. Please be normal about her name, I came up with it when I was eight.

this blog does take place in same universe and same region as all my others, but about 20 years in the future. same-canon interactions are allowed (and encouraged), but just warned that she might give information on things that haven't happened yet during the canon of this universe (both my and others' blogs!!)

if she ever becomes aware of my other blogs (e.g. through someone tagging one of them), she will see them inactive and last updated almost 20 years ago. this is to prevent timeline fuckery, even if those blogs will stay updated up to her blog's time period.

as of when this post is written, all my blogs are connected and take place in the same universe, same region. it's a fanregion that i haven't come up with a name for yet so i've just been calling it [redacted]. it's meant to be based off of parts of coastal china. feel free to ask if you have questions!!!

here's some general information on how i interpret things in the pokemon universe:

people can eat pokemon, carnivorous pokemon exist. non-pokemon creatures also exist but they're mostly microbes and the like. 'animal' words like cat, dog, etc exist but are used as categorical terms (e.g. 'cat' refers to feline pokemon who are mainly domesticated). some legendaries and mythicals can be caught and/or befriended, but not all of them.

other blogs in same canon may have somewhat differing interpretations but this is how it is for all of mine.
