I've always wanted to play softball but I was always a dancer so I've never said anything. I finally told my parents I wanted to play and they said I could try out for travel. I'm pretty quick to my feet, I'm coordinated, and I hit pretty good but my throwing and catching is a little rusty. My entire family had either played softball or baseball, my cousin coaches the travel team I'm gonna try out for. She lives like right beside of us and she has a field in behind her house. Should I try out?

I say give it a shot! You can always ask your cousin for help throwing and catching, but coordination and being quick on your feet aren’t teachable skills so having them is a huge advantage for you. It’ll help ya pick it up in no time! Practice w your cousin or family members before the try out to get better at the basics and go from there. Good luck and let me know how it goes! :)

Made it to my first 1,000! Thank you all for being loyal followers. I know I haven’t been posting much, but I finally got a new computer so expect more in the future!
