I think about that run episode where Jungkook waited for jimin a lot.

1. He was excited to finish early. Immediately agreed to wait for him.

2. He waited the entire time for jimin to finish asking if jimin was done occasionally.

3. Said he was on jimins team during vmins Rock Paper Scissors cause they said they’d go home together

4. When it said “the maknae can finally go home” the moment jimin won and they hi fived

5. Behind the scenes Jikook agreeing to just leave if he knocks them down talking in “we”

I think you're mistaken here. JK was waiting for Tae. The production told him to say it's JM he's waiting for, JM is in on it, so he asked (for Tae) that JK wait for him.

Anyway, every time JK asks if JM is done, he means Tae, that a code all the members know already. They are all in on this act trying to hide the true love story between JK & Tae.

When JM comes out, it's Tae JK wants to wait for, so they try to help him finish earlier with the dominos.

Tae messes up when he passionately touches JK's thigh, angering the company, which means they can't let them leave together on camera, that will spill all the beans, they need to have a diversion.

To hide that mishap of Tae's, he messes up with the dominos, leaving JK no choice but to leave with JM, leaving Tae behind broken hearted.
