The Rookie 2x18

Boy, another intense episode! I was on the edge of my seat for the riot scenes. I can’t believe we are two episodes away from the season finale, so without further ado lets get to the episode.

Rachel moving away surprised me, but she’s moving to her dream job. Now was I surprised that Tim didn’t want to leave, no, no I was not. Although Tim loves Rachel he would not choose her over the job that he loves. Like Lucy said he is La through and through. I don’t care what people say, Tim obviously loves Rachel, or else he wouldn’t have questioned if he wanted to leave or not. In the end though he rules out his options, and he at that moment in the episode says no. Grey calling Tim “Boot” was hilarious.

Angela and West were amazing this episode. Angela was not about to take any of the shit that this guy was trying to hand her. She was a badass this whole episode, and I can’t wait to see more of that! Jackson and her have such a great bond and it’s so nice to see how far both of them have come since day 1. Also great to see Nick again!

Now to the true stars this episode. Harper and Nolan. Without fail Harper can always make me laugh. She is serious when she needs to be, but her smart comments and her faces are what really make me love her. She is smart and a badass all the way, she knows how to handle situations, and is not afraid to do what is necessary. To see her and Nolan working together is incredible. Nolan hasn’t known her for long, but already at this point he can work well with her, and they both are amazing. The whole prison scenes had me on the edge of my seat. And seeing Oscar again, and watching him be the cunning little shit that he is, always gives me goosebumps. I was sad to see Grace deciding to go back to her husband, she has been one of my favorite characters this season, and I really hope we see her in the finale. But if this is the end, Grace you were an amazing character and I love you.

Now with that all done. I believe it is time for us rookie fans to mentally prepare ourselves for the two part finale. We get episode 19 next week! Oh my gosh I can’t wait and I’m super excited! See you all then!

I wish more people on Tumblr watched The Rookie.

Because I want to see more gifs of scenes from the latest episodes in the tags, I want to see tons more notes for the content that is created. I want to see more theories, more fan edits and more fan art too.

And I want more people gushing over John Nolan, Angela Lopez, Nyla Harper, Jackson West, Tim Bradford, and Lucy Chen, because they are all such great characters. I especially want to see hype for Lucy, Jackson, and John with how far they've come as rookies and get recognition for how much they've learned from their TOs but also for how much they are teaching their TOs as well.

You know what really hit with last nights episode, beside ams Angela Lopez, being a BAMF...when Grey was talking with Tim, he brought up all the hardships moving to new city, living together, no social network, essentially starting over and then telling Bradford if Rachel was the “one” then its worth it. Small detail but very interesting.
