MOVEMBER - CZECH version Co tu děláme? Snažíme se zvýšit povědomí o důležitosti pravidelných preventivních prohlídek, díky nimž může být odhalena nebezpečná rakovina v časné fázi. Proč to děláme? Nechceme vidět naše přátele a blízké trpět nebo umírat na tuto zákeřnou chorobu jenom proto, že si myslí, že jich se to netýká. Všichni máme své idoly, přesněji řečeno muže, kteří nás inspirují a dávají nám víru, naději, radost a pocit štěstí. Tito muži mohou být hudebníci, herci, sportovci, naši otcové. Každý z nás zná a obdivuje nějakého muže. Lidé si někdy myslí, že se jich rakovina netýká. Zní to naivně, ale někteří si to opravdu myslet můžou. A myslí si to. Ale bohužel se může týkat každého z nás. Všichni jsme jenom lidé. Tak křehcí. Bez ohledu na to, jestli je nám 25 nebo 55 let. Bez ohledu na to, jestli máme pevné nebo podlomené zdraví. Bez ohledu na naše genetické předpoklady. Rakovina může zákeřně přepadnou každého. Rakovina si nevybírá, jestli vyděláváte 100.000 eur za rok nebo jestli jste nezaměstnaní. Je jí jedno, jestli máte rodinu nebo žijete sami. Může se týkat každého z nás. Mužů nevyjímaje. A to je důvod proč brojíme za pravidelné kontroly a ochranu. Všichni jednou někde z nějakého důvodu zemřeme. Ale neměli bychom zemřít brzy, jenom kvůli naší neopatrnosti. Připojte se k nám.

We don't want to see our friends or loved ones to suffer or die from the cancer only because they thought it wouldn't happen to them. We all have our idols, better call them people who inspire us and give us faith, hope, joy, happiness. These people can be musicians, actors, sportmen, our dads, anyone we know and admire. But sometimes these people might think they're protected from cancer and things like that. It sounds naive but they might really think so and that sentence - it can't happen to me is in their head. But unfortunately it can happen because we all are only human beings. So fragile. No matter if you're 25 or 55, no matter if you had health problems in the past or not. Cancer can hit anyone. Cancer doesn't care if you earn 100 000 per year or if you're unemployed. It doesn't care if you have a family or if you live alone. That's why we say get a check up and protect yourself. We all are going to die at some point but we shouldn't die only because we are careless.
